      • Dominika ordered her troops to withdraw from the area around Rhodes, sent out the settlers that had been waiting so long to claim the lands that belonged to them and begun repairing the fleet after the Rhodes seabattle where both sides lost 2 fleets of Triremes. Our will triumphant at last, but there were some glaring problems looming in the future. The Byzantines had negotiated peace with Persia instead of Russia, a huge insult to Dominika personally and an affront to the sovereignity of Russia. If the greater powers were to make peace for others in such a manner, it was pure luck alone that ensured that Russia got what it sought. The Guru of Persia had been favorable to Russia, but would this last when a successor took the lead? And most worryingly, despite the peace offer being agreed upon by all parties, the Byzantines had not yet handed the city to Persia. Which resulted in Rhodes continuous blocking of the new settlements.

There should be no reason for a delay, what is going on here...

An envoy was sent to Persians and Byzantines:
-Rhodes must be uprooted for our people to settle, why are not the Byzantines upholding their peace promise?

          • Dominika,

I will choose my words carefully, for despite the fact that neither of us are probably each other's favourite people, I believe in building a new future which includes prosperous relations between our people.

I am sorry if you feel insulted. I imagine our historians will always see the history of this conflict differently. I concluded a treaty with the Persians because it was their open entry into the conflict which convinced me to withdraw from Rhodes, while your own invasion had been comprehensively defeated. I am sure you see it differently. I hope we can move on.

Regarding the implementation of the Declaration of Antioch, there are only two factors delaying it, both of which are in your court:

            1. You have not publicly declared your acceptance of it.
            2. You / the Persians have not sent any unit to Rhodes to take possession of it. You still have no unit adjacent to it.

(OOC the agreement is that it is destroyed. This can only happen by one of your units entering the city.)

My scouts report clearly that you have acted on the basis of the Declaration of Antioch, I can see your settlers and the withdrawl of your seige engines. Therefore to build on this I have instructed Bellisarius to withdraw the army from Rhodes to take up a position on the coast for shipment to Niceae. I believe he has now done this. I hope that this settles any concerns you may have.

I hope that you can deal with the two issues mentioned above as quickly as possible, and we can put this whole affair behind us, fo the sake of our people.

            • Guru Ahm'Az abducted

When Ahm'Az walked to the shrine,
about 4 masked fat men encircled him.
They pulled a bag over his head,
and brought him tot he deserts of Hastogsburg.

"You have betrayed Persia!" their leader whispered.
"Therefore you will be killed and your name will
be removed from the chronicles of Persia!

Then one of the others spitted on Ahm'Az.
"Hastog curses you for making peace with Byzantine"
              their leader said.

              Guru Fed'Az

Tower of Fat Hastogianism in Persepolis

Guru Fed'Az, First Guru of Persia

Fed'Az the Fat, monk of the Fat Hastogianists,
moved to Persepolis, capital of Fat Hastogianism.
There he spoke to the people:

"People of Persia, Ahm'Az has betrayed us!
              He has been executed.
              His name will be forgotten!
Nobody will ever mention his name again!
He is a shame to all of us!
              We will not remember him!
All hail ME, Guru Fed'Az, First Guru of Persia"
              Guru Fed'Az addresses all nations

              Nations of the World,
              Persia has a Guru now!
              His name is Fed'Az.
              He will lead Persia.

Fed'Az will lead Persia in the spirit of the past.
In the spirit of the past years when there was
              no Guru in Persia.
Hastog the Fat will be his guide.

              All serve Hastog!

Then Fed'Az continued to finish the Construction of Fat Hastogianism.
A tall tower that would unite all Fat Hastogianists all over the world.
              Letter to Dominika

              Dominika, mistress of Russia,

All glory of Hastog to you!
I greet you from Persepolis, capital of Hastogianism.
You are hailed for your victory over Byzantium!

You are hailed for defeating Byzantium all by yourself
              Remember that Persia never intervened
Remember that Persia never was a part of your victory!
Remember that Persia never made war or peace with Byzantium!
You did it! Let's never forget that!
There never was a Guru of Persia before me, and he certainly
did not negotiate with your enemies.

              You are strong!
You are right to stand for yourself! Don't rely on other nations.
              Define your own paths.
Together we will define the path of Hastogianism.
              You are hailed!

              • Poem of the Romanoi

know of the treachery of the English,
                hear of Exeter's split tongue.
In Roman minds there was a wish
                England's path is clearly wrong

They take our land and other vices,
                try appeasement with some spices
we wanted to put an end to it all,
but we were by far too small

In times when keeping neighbors friends,
                When the olivebranch extends
They deigned to hide in shadows
                Send spies risking Roman gallows

Going back on their dealings of trade
They left us, at this fateful date
with but the option to make a stand
and close the borders of our land
                Sic Vincit Gloria Mundi

                  • Bellisarius and his bodyguard waited in the gate of Rhodes.

The last of the fishermen had sailed their boats from the harbour that morning across to Niceae. Just one trireme remained to take them.

The Russian macemen had been spotted the previous week marching down from the tundra. They had waited five miles from the city the previous night. Now, they were holding their position as the three Persians rode up to the city to accept its surrender. One clearly a Hastogian priest, the others an military officer and a servant, or so it seemed.

Few words were spoken, but the deed was done. As stipulated in the Declaration of Antioch the empty shell of Rhodes was turned over to Persian control. As Bellisarius' men bordered the trireme, they could hear the Russians approaching, and the sound of the tumbling walls echoed across the waves as the crossed to Niceae.

Many in that trireme doubted the Theodosius had made the right choice. The city could have been held indefinitely against the Russians - they had defeated them once they could do it again - and the Persians, well, let them try, if indeed they would ever have turned up. But ... they were soliders, theirs not to reason why.

                    • After extensive talks with the various tribes, Lone Horn VII (and family) continued his voyage of exploration. He was pleased to meet the tribe of Michael Vi Britannia, and be given permission to pass through their coastal waters.

He stayed a little time in their villages to share peace pipes. In fact of the tribes the natives had met, these Britannia natives were very used to smoking ‘peace’ pipes in special huts. The travellers were well tempted to stay longer.

Back home, there had been a major powwow between the natives of Poverty point and a visiting holy man from the Mali tribe. Most of the native tribes had converted to Taos but the braves in Poverty Point had been taken with the beliefs of the Hinduism religion.

They argued for many moons but eventually saw the wisdom of the Taoist faith. Poverty Point adopted Taoism.

The natives of Poverty Point then thought about sending a representative to the neighbouring tribes Powwow on Taoism and chose their chief scout to visit the Korean convention
I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself.

                      • Taoism is spread to all but two Korean citys now. This one NAtional faith is what keeps out people strong.

Korea are keen to make closer pacts between the Taoist nations

The annual meeting of Tasoism on Hope Island is a chance for all Taoists to pray for the future and to discuss ways of spreading Tao to others lacking the truth.

But remember borthers , we are not as the others of the world, we are for peace and compasion. But let no one be fooled. if one Tao brother is injured all Taoists are injured. We will fight for vengence as one.

                          • With the Russian war now coming to an end and the Persian war machine becoming
dormant once more many of the Britannian Ministers took this time to talk with Michael to
address the needs of the nation.

The ministers looked high and low but could not find Michael anywhere inside the Palace.
Then they received word Michael wanted them to go to the burial caverns under the
Palace. They walked until the reach the giant door way leading to the cave inside the
waterfall. As they got closer they notice the doorway now had huge metal doors with
                            heavily armed guards standing infront.

On the other side of the door everything was different. The statue of St. Michael still
stood in the middle of the cave but everything else was different. The cave opening was
sealed with metal doors and the roof of the cave was removed and replaced with a clear
glasslike sealing allowing light to come in. They looked all around and saw various maps
all around with wooden markers indicating troop numbers in detail.

Michael walked to the ministers, "Welcome Ministers of Britannia to our command center."
The Domestic Minister began to speak. "My lord the Russian war seems to be coming to
an end and Persia's forces have become dormant again. There is no more reason to have
a mass build up of troops. We ask to take this time to tend to our nation's growing
needs." Michael smiled, "I have already switched production to workers and A few more
settlers. No need to worry my friends once the workers are done we will go back to our
military mind and we will make our move to expand to foreign lands. Now if that is all
leave me for I have much planning to do."

The ministers all left unsure of what Michael is planning to do.
