Mortanchu, Please advise the Indians that the cost of maintianing this level of espionage is not the best usage of our economies, we would be mych better off using it to spy on other such as the Persians and Byzantines, please keep this secret and let no one know of our plans.
Bellisarius sleeping at chair in the praetorium of Rhodes was woken by the sound of bells. For a moment he thought it was the sound of the general alarm, and that finally the Russians/Persians had found their courage and attacked the unprotected city. But then he realised, the tune - it was joyful.
Rushing out to the balcony with its view west to the occupied land, he was amazed. In the dawn light the truth was unmistakeable. The whole Russian/Persian army was in full flight. Men, horses, elephants and seige engines streaming up the paths into the forests.
Quickly he sent out scouts, and by nightfall the truth wsa uncontrovertible.The Russian/Persians had fled.
Bellisarius knew that Theodosius was wililng to offer an unconditional peace. But that so far the Russians had refused even to talk, and that meant orders would come for a counter-strike to remove the Russian ability to wage war. Perhaps, thought Bellisarius, the Russians migth see sense soon and begin to talk. But now was not a moment for such thoughts, but to celebrate the great victory of the seige of Rhodes.
Please accept my apologies once again for not coming immediately to travel with you to your fair island in the Ice Sea. The Russian/Persian invasion of my lands has had to be the focus on my energies. Defending one’s people – simple farmers and fishermen – from attack must be the first priority of a ruler.
Now, however, with the flight of the Russian/Persian forces, I am able to think of more than war, and the first priority is to come and see you again my friend – my fellow builder of peace at Friendship City – a beacon of civilisation and wisdom in this foolish world.

This is not a threat, this is advice. The Russians no longer act alone, they have the backing of the great Persians and you may soon have more enemies than just them."

It was a most interesting lecture, Dr Abrams-said the Indian representaive - but now I would like to address some more pressing matters at this conference.
As you all must know the central dogma of the Sha'Tao tells us about the prophecy, the coming of Evil which is near as we can already see the signs. Despite our best efforts it seems most of the nations just ignore our words. We need concrete plans and we need to act together to ensure our future, to bring the true faith to all yet unbelievers.
First,: here is the question of the Incas. Their government still refuses the will of its own people to convert to the true religion. They could be the teachers of the central continent, they should send their and our missioanries to the other countries, but they still do nothing.
We suggest that we make a statement here to press this matter at the Incan government.
Second,: the spreading of Tao has slowed down significally during the last few centuries. We all must make greater effort to spread the faith among our own people if it's still necessary and to our neighbours. The Indians with our Mali brothers will soon lead a big expedition to Egypt to convert all of their cities. it's a big and costly expedition but we have our responsibilites. We hope other Taosit nations will follow our example. We want to hear about it.. soon.
An extra comment: we get more and more news about wars at the east. According to Byzantine reports barbarians and demonlovers are invading their civilized lands. We cant confirm this yet but this could be just a new sign of the impending doom and their punishment for not following the true path. In any case this time is a good opportunity to let their people learn about the Sha'Tao, they must be particulary receptive its teachings.

As to how to get here, we again have sent maps of our lands many times but will again show you the way
Thank you for the map. We did not realize our brothers lived so close to us. Although the distance looks close, it will likely take several turns to travel there by boat. We hope the messengers you sent with the maps previously were not trapped in a hostile situation.
