  • India doesn't need to trade because they are using the tech whore stratigy and pulling it off without opposition. Where India under threat of attack like most the rest of us had been it would be a different story .

Toni is good.... Jsut kiding who ever india is is god.

But not to harp on. I did mention this a long time ago. but it getting almost too late. In civ MP you cant allow a civ or 2 to take a lead and notbe challenged by the 3 or 4th civ.

      • I can't talk for India, but I'm not even able to trade. I'm on the west-side of our continent and only in contact with only like 6 civs. None of them has techs I can/want to trade (Except like monotheism and horseback riding, techs I'm not going to spend a voucher on)

I think India is exactly in the opposite position of me, at the very east side of the map. (if I'm interpreting the stories correctly) so there's maybe nothing to trade for him either.

Understand the point. But if you are on the other side of the world from someone its almost impossible in the age of galleys to do anything to challenge them. And you can't blame nations 3 and 4 for being as worried about keeping 5 and 6 off their backs, as they are about catching 1 and 2.

I believe India doesn't even have the alphabet.

Umm it only a msall world really. from my travels and exchanges with others anyone close to the incas is one small step from the indians.

but your analagy aexplains every civ game, it better to come 4th or 5th than 6th or 7th beter to come 11th than 12th. But if we all sent everyone of our troops to india and england than nothing could stop us making a new number one and two, then a few centurries later repeating till eventualyl the person in last place will get to be biggest ... what a cool fun game...

But anyway, please no one complain about who wins this game, if you sont do it early it is too late later.

This is mostly correct. It would had been different if I had Persia as neighbour or just more militaristic ones. I'd surely had less wonders than I have now, and much of my points come from them.
              few points:
The game is not the 1st vs the 2nd, the 2nd vs the 3rd etc. It will be more like allianve vs alliance and it's up to us to try maikng balanced alliances and not just choose the safest/strongest side always.
Even if I could I wouldnt just sit back in my fortresses and launch the spaceship eventually-I want to see an interesting game more than I want to "win". I'm actually doing things which work against me- and I will do even more in the future.

                            • Ha! Now India has lifted his unknown identity!

Now we know that you like Star Wars!
Which means you're a computer nerd!
You most probably spend your time playing role playing games over the internet with people you don't even know!

Ha! Now I know who you are!

But yes indeed, Hastog teaches us to benefit from both parties during the war.
Never hesitate to trade with your enemies if it makes you better and bigger.
Hastogianism has no principles. I advise you to adopt to it!
