And the penalty for not posting a tech trade??? (Rampant problem in BtP)
How are we to know when 4 civs have reached a new era???
Are we, or are we not using voltans? The definition part of the org thread mentions them, but then again we are also doing the "free tech two eras back" thing.
Also... Voting. Maybe I am blind, but I see hardly NO mention of this in the org thread. Where should we send votes? How often? What format? What are we voting on? How is OOC score tallied? There is mention of a "fair play vote" 25% penalty for revealing someones identity. BUT WHAT IS A FAIR PLAY VOTE????????
You are managing this game Robert, so it is your call on how to dissimulate information, but to be frank, it is very confusing to understand. There seems to be no clear order to it. Five pages on how a dispute is resolved and not one sentence on how the score and voting works???
By the way, I CANNOT WAIT to see the dispute system in action for the first time. Votes upon votes, upon vetos.... you do realize that hardly anyone bothers voting in these games?
The login instructions alone make my head spin. Is the IP "anonomous.plomp.eu:2062", or simply "plomp.eu:2062"???????? Go back to the civ picker to get your apolyton anonomous password??????? Is the password "dance", or "checkyourname" for game login purposes???
How many passwords am I going to have to keep track of by the time this is over?
Are you trying to see how many brain hemorrhages you can give players?
The "Ozzy Diploguide" is also referenced. When something in that guide conflicts with rules written in this org thread, which one is applied???
Sorry for the tone, but you really need to simplify things, and clarify others. I really like diplogames, but this setup is on par complexity wise with a NASA space launch, and as problematic as Kenyan space launch.
Throw in the fact that we have 15 players, half of which are new to this format, and, well....Last edited by Pinchak; August 19, 2009, 00:11.
