I think it best as it does seem to iron out a lot of problems. Either way will mean a dual install for a lot of people as not everybodt in every game is going to accept it.

Robert, this turn may have to be re-loaded as you logging in booted me straight out. From the PBEM I'm in Patched will work with Unpatched but not the other way round. I reckon nobody else will be able to play now who hasn't been Patched.

Are you patched? I'm not.
If you are patched and that gives problems according to you, then a reload won't solve your problem.

Can't log back in I am afraid as for some reason I cannot connect to the server.

St Jon, it looks like you do have the latest patch installed.

I do not and I was able to log in and play my turn just fine.

I've always had a different version because I made some visual mods b/c of my screenshots
No 3.19 though.

I definitely don't have the patch installed.

Even if I had it would not stop me connecting only any subsequent player who was unpatched.

There was once again a pop-up blocking the server. that's the reason that Russia couldn't join. I've removed it.

Must be something up with my ISP tonight as I cannot maintain a connection.

Does anyone have any helpful advice on *how* to do a dual install? I downloaded the patch and can't figure out how to undo it or install another copy.
