Looking to join Diplomacy game or team...

I thought I'd say here that I'd like to join a diplo game as well, but it may be better to make a new thread.. or not.. who will you think i am in that case??

Aren't you, guys, a bit paranoid . I don't know what exactly Japan did, I've just spent some time reading the diplo threads recently. I didnt post here before because i'm visiting too many forums already. (btw I'm registered on 10+ forums with this nickname, just out of curiosity i've googled it and it even showed my phone number... too much power to google.. :P)
Anyway if you really want to be sure just check my ip, it should say Hungary (i dont know where the previous player was from)

Rising Sun is still around isn't he? I'm sure I've seen a post from them quite recently. Aren't known cheats expelled totally from here and not just the game they cheated in?

ehm.. Is it some kind of web translation? The grammar is way out of order. Btw hungarian is a quite complicated language and there is no really good automated translator at the moment (afaik).
(Egyébként Budapesten élek. Mostanában újra elővettem a civet és olvasgattam a fórumokat. A civfanaticson szoktam GOTM-okat játszogatni, de néha ezt a fórumot is megnéztem így találtam meg ezeket a diplogémeket és mivel szerepjátékozni is szeretek így ehhez is megjött e kedvem)

I've never played a Democracy game before or posted on this forum before.

I would really like to join a Diplomacy game with a team that doesn't mind that I'm new but if you don't want me to join that's fine too.

I must say though, especially after this reaction, I find the Civilization community kind of excluding in the sense that if you ever want to play in the lobby, most everyone doesn't want new players (noobs) to play.

I'm not saying everyone is like that, some people have been very helpful to me, including on this site, but I just find it weird that they don't want the community to grow. This would mean more people to play with, and a higher demand for Civ products.

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Actually, Diplogames traditionally try to have a few new players involved in them. But due to some recent events there is a bit more "paranoia" surrounding who gets let in to play. I'm sure it will stop after a while, but there is a good reason for this.

I don't know where you got that I'm a friend of Pinchak from. I don't know him outside of Apoly nor have we even spoken in Apoly.
