My points also went up about six or seven points too for no reason, and similarly I did nothing but build a road. I killed like six barbarian units though, but I don't think that has anything to do with your game score. I even lost a city! So who knows what's going on.

Did the roads you built happen to connect cities to your captial (or to other cities)? Because the trade network would add a few points.

EDIT: Also the amount of explored land seems to have an effect. Each time you reach a milestone number of tiles uncovered, you get some points.

No, the road I built connected me to some horses, but there isn't a pasture there yet so it couldn't be that.

It takes land points 20 turns to enter your score. So the technology, wonder and population score points that you have on any given turn are part of your score, but the land area part of the score is your land area score from the end of your turn 20 turns ago.

Unfortunalty to maintain Anon status most people ae not going to use any instant Messenger.

The POLY CHAT is a blocked application at work for me so cant use that.

Creating other threads is also not allowed as Cyber clearly stated anon posts only in the approved PITBOSS Threads, we have to use our usual logins in any other threads.

And we not just after chat, we after discussiions and organisation, but unles it a topic Ozzy wants to discuss he deletes and closes the Org thread..

I was using the last thread for game issues and before ozzy went on his power trip I was trying to get everyone to move the non important post to this side but since he decided to be a dick and erase everything he gave me no choice but to spam it up. so this is the deal I would agree to keep the other thread for serious issues only if and only if ozzy apologizes for his behavior and agrees not to do it again under any circumstances.

I was under the impression that using anon logins was not restricted to the official threads... only that they should not be used for anything other than BtP related posting. So creating your own discussion thread is not out of the question.

In my case there is no reason to "maintain" anonymity because I was never anonymous to begin with, I filled in for somebody else and everybody knew it was me. So there's that issue.

I try to at least make all of my story posts using my anonymous log-in.

I don't necessarily think Ozzy is being a dick, there is a slight problem when there are so many frivilous posts that any semblence of a discussion becomes moot. That said I think he went a little overboard, but things happen when you are upset. So we should try and stop this argument, its pointless because in the end Ozzy does have the ability to delete posts and close threads. Unfortunately that can't really be debated, and as I've said before I think the nature of the Pitboss game combined with anonymous play has contributed to this impasse. So we should all just chill out and try to get over this issue and get our Org thread back up, try and keep anything frivilous to the chat thread and go about playing this game.
