And Financial civs should.... hey they shouldn't write any stories at all! But just send all of the other players money to bribe us into pretending they do.

I demand that all Creative civs write in rhyme or prose! :doitnow:
It won't be creative if all nations do the same.
Also hopefully this game does not start too soon, since I have a cold and will not be visiting until I get better. But if necessary contact me via email
nah. I'm happy with what I have. but I don't want the historical placement of that civ... and I might want to customize its name.
also, a few tips towards mapbuilding. if we decide to have an east-west hemisphere, then the continents should be divided up in such a way as to create some "internal" seas like the mediterranean, black sea and red sea of our world that allow sailing to be useful early on, and create natural barriers.
furthermore, mountain ranges is a definitive must, not just random peaks as the map generator makes them.

But I don't know if both continents should have inland seas, perhaps something like the caribean sea on one of the contients?

Ok, we have 17 players in now.
2 players didn't pick their civs: Frank Johnson (p18) and beta (p12)
If either one of them or someone else will fill up this last spot, we can continue.
From friday on I will be on vacation.
I will keep on checking this forum every day though through a cell-phone connection.
I'll continue setting up my google account so that we can use it for mail purposes and selecting a day on which all of us can play the first session.
How long do we wait for an 18th player?
Till 24 hours from now?
(Beta has been online several times since I've pm'ed him. He never read my pm, despite the fact that he has e-mail notification, Frank hasn't been online for more then 1 week. I've mailed him as well though, no reaction)
