If it isn't too late, I'd be interested in joining. I've never done MP Civ IV before but want to learn. I don't really have a preference as to civilization or anything (I don't even know how it works, except from what I've read in the Diplogames FAQ topic).

I can do Saturday or Sunday as long as it's after 5 PM Eastern. Saturday works a bit better.

I think it's best to wait untill the summer vacations are over. Starting just before the vacations is not the best moment, I think. People may miss a lot of sessions.

Maybe it's best to wait till VIII is over anyway, a # of the VIII players want to be involved in the next game, together it may become a great game, with new players and experienced players.
