  • Incan children song about Mayta Capac

Mayta Capac and Rebecca walked along the shore
With every step Mayta Capac did he loved her more
He tried to impress with his wealth and his power
He tried to show his wisdom in a half of an hour
Then at the beach he kneeled down on one knee
He grabbed her hand, looked in her eyes and said 'Marry me'
Rebecca said 'no', and he grabbed his knife
He raised his arm and then he took his own life
If he would have the patience
for her to travel to all civilizations
to meet the princes of the world one by one
Then one day she would return and accept him as her man
Since there was no prince on earth so handsome cute and and wise
As our own Sapa Inca Mayta Capac the nice!

Yahuar Huacac, The first of the new Sapa Inca line

Mayta Capac had died before he had begotten any sons.
Yahuar Huacac, a respected man among all Incas claimed the throne of Rho-Cuzco, and received it.
All Incas honored their wise leader and enjoyed in the new line of Sapa Inca's.

    • The Carthaginians. Continued....

Astorgus’ funeral was remarkably quiet. No public ceremonies were held, just a simple announcement that he had died. Even the cause of death was kept secret. Some suspected it was the culmination of two serious war wounds – the first received in the tragic siege of Ichibi, the other in the heroic, but equally tragic charge of the Carthaginian Knight’s.

Others suggested, and they were probably correct, that he died from a combination of exhaustion and disappointment. His reign, which had started so promising, will be remembered forever in both Carthaginian and World History as a period of constant war and a series of utter military and diplomatic failures. The military failures are beyond debate; and in fact, the Carthaginian administration has actually taken steps to ‘bury’ the true stories of the war for fear that future generations would carry such a heavy sense of defeatism.

The diplomatic failures are still debated to this day. It was a tumultuous time – and Astorgus’ supporters argue that Zulu demands of the time were outrageous, and that the Zulu encroachment on Carthaginian borders needed to be countered. His detractors argue that diplomacy is always an option – and should have been used more effectively to avoid the years of bloodshed that crippled the nation. They however, seem to miss the point that it was the Zulu who invaded in the first place – over a luxury resource of all things – and one only four tiles distance from Carthage.

The more fatalist of the population - and they were numerous – and included many of the Judean faith - simply said it was our ill fortune to have neighbours such as the Zulu – and that Carthage was a victim of Zulu ‘uncivilized’ internal strife spilling out into the international arena.

Whatever the debate, in the end, a peace was achieved, albeit at considerable cost.

One of Astorgus’ final acts of leadership was to re-establish the Carthaginian Monarchy, but with a senate of officials – one quarter from the military, one quarter from the Judean clergy, and two quarters of ‘elected’ officials from Carthaginian cities – to rule with them. This new and somewhat unwieldy governance structure was defined by The Charter of Tuscana – so named in honour of the new world colony established by the Carthaginian nation. The founding of the colony was the first positive event in Carthaginian history for many years, and hence, the new charter bore its name in an effort to look forward, not back. (The Carthaginian colonial efforts will be detailed in a future manuscript).

A distant niece of King Toxo XXIX, whom readers will recall as the King of Carthaginian Enlightenment, ascended to the throne as Queen Toxinia XXII. Although only 23 years of age, she was well educated, and had been raised during Carthage’s darkest hours. She was a serious and dedicated ruler.

On the ‘public’ side, the senate elected Wyatt Terrellus as leader of the senate. He was a noted merchant from Carthage, with a good sense of organization, negotiation, and risk-taking. Although somewhat of a compromise choice, given the various factions in the senate, it was to prove an excellent choice for the nation. Not only was Terrellus able to harness the energy and ideas of the various senators, but he was able to achieve an excellent working relationship with Queen Toxinia and the monarch’s advisors. The Charter was a less than perfect document, but the young Queen and Wyatt Terrellus had much success in realizing its spirit and intent.

On the foreign diplomatic front, which needed much work, their first act was to issue this public statement to the world:

“Queen Toxinia XXII of Carthage, the Carthaginian Senate, and the Carthaginian people would like to acknowledge and thank the nations of the world that provided support either directly or indirectly during the recent Zulu wars. Your faith in world peace, and your collective belief in Carthage’s future role in the world, is an immense source of inspiration for the Carthaginians. We look forward to years of peaceful and productive co-existence. Thank you again, and may Judea bless you.”
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

      • The Kingdom of Korea

We are greatly disappointed by the latest missives from the Hitties. Korea has always sought to steer a middle path between her two biggest and most powerful neighbours, but whereas Germany has proven time and again their goodwill towards us, our erstwhile brothers in faith increasingly seek to impose their will upon us, whether we like it or not. Korea does not appreciate being forced to choose between one or the other of her neighbors, and in so belligrant and inflexible a manner.

Let it be known that since time immemorial, the Hitties have conditioned the friendship of our two nations upon implacable and unwavering hostility towards our northern neighbor, Germany. We have never really understood the source of this animosity, and indeed, we learned from the Germans that their own diplomatic advances were categorically rejected; the hostility therefore seemed to stem from one side alone, at least initially. Let it be further known that Korea is not, and has never been a 'lackey' of any other nation, least of all Germany; we value our independance and security too much to be willing to play along with any such charade. Attempts to make us lackeys are greatly unappreciated and lead to resistance in our body politic.

With regards to the colonies of Suwon and 'No', Korea will like to clarify a few points. Firstly, Korea has time and again attempted to reach a compromise with regards to the status of the area, and time and again Hittie has refushed to come to any such compromise. Secondly, while it is true that a native settlement did exist where the settlement of 'No' now stands, it was subsequently razed to the ground by Hittie troops, who incidentally had apparently been posted on the outskirts for what seems to be generations. (As a side note, though we were aware of the settlement, we were unaware of the Hittie military presense until Suwon was established.) Leaving aside the concerns about the treatment of the tatives, the Hitties therefore had an option to establish a new colony somewhat further northeast in a mannar that would not much compromise the settlement (as can be seen by the map that the Hitties have provided). But our initial explorations with regards to that option were rejected outright, and the colony of 'No' was founded. Throughout, Hittie has acted as though the presense of overwhelming force justified her claim to territory; this combined with her current overwhelming military might is an extreme cause for alarm. We cannot help but feel that past Hittie reassurances that the force was not aimed at Korea were of a false note, and not made in good faith.

Even now, Korea clings to the vain hope that there can be a peaceful resolution. When it comes down to it, we are helpless to defend Suwon against the expeditionary Hittie army. If Hittie insists on acquiring and destroying Suwon, we will have no choice in the matter. However, if this is accompanied by an invasion of our own homeland, let it be known that Korea will resist to the bitter end. We believe, and have always believed, that disputes in the New World should stay in the New World.

        Gojong, King of Korea

          • Hittite invasion!

And so it happens, the Hittite hordes invaded the Choson lands and razed their unprotected new world colony, the local population was slaughtered. The Choson were warned that if they do not remove their armies from their border towns in the Old World more cities will fall. It was clear that this wasn’t only a new world issue but a global one. Threats were send to the Germans to remove their armies as well from some new world colonies.

Soon after, without any provocations war was declared on Germany without any diplomatic talks, a German colony was lost to the Hittite menace. From what we can see this invasion was well planned, the statement of the Hittite seeking balance was just a cover up. Their real goal was to take all that they can and keep it for themselves. Germany immediately send a plead to the international community to pressure the Hittite, the only nations to act on this request were the wise Inca, Egypt a long time friend of ours and to some extend the English, the Inca cut off all diplomatic relations with the aggressor and Egypt declared war on the Hittites. England stated that it's to weak to do anything. After losing our colony the whole new world German population was mobilized for total war. German cavalry was send at once to attack the invaders supported by well trained Grenadiers, many fell but the German city was taken back. After having our city back, German armies were send to attack the Hittite city of No, which was taken without any losses and with that put an end to the Hittite northern invasion.

The conquered Hittite city of No was given to the Egyptians, as a thank you for their support. Being over confident the Hittite invaded the Choson in the Old World, but immediately German forces joined the defense of the Choson cities. The Hittite were pushed back and once all German and Choson armies where in place an order to counter attack was given, both Choson and German armies attacked the Hittite homeland. Now the tide has turned and the Germans and the Chosons were in command.

The Hittite have asked for peace, seeing that they are fighting a losing war. Still we the Germans are not so easy forgiving:

Any aggression by Germany on England or any other member of the alliance will result in a state of war between our two nations.
This will be so even if openly it is not declared by our Foreign Affairs Minister, Bayu.
As long as you don't attack the English and you work towards peaceable cultural/border negotiations we are satisfied that no action is necessary.
And as for you Bismark, the mongrel proginy of Hanz
To this end, any actions by us in the New World may yield repercussions in the old world.
German has invited their Choson and Egyptian friends to discuss this matter further.

              • The Great War

The Hittites had invaded Korea and Germany.
Yahuar Huacac read the report in his hands.
The Hittites had invaded Korea and Germany....
WHY did they do this? WHY?

                His allies had invaded.........
                Aggression......
                Invasion....
                War.....
                Murdering.....
                WHY?

Yahuar Huacac started to walk circles in his room.
The former Sapa's had ended all bounds with warmongering empires.
They all reminded the Inca about the evil Americans under the lead of McArthur.

McArthur..... the ghost that hounted the Incans in their nightmares, even today. McArthur, the man who had crumbled the Incan empire and economy in the dark ages of old. McArthur... cursed be his name!
And the Hittites are like McArthur!
Yahuar Huacac stamped on the floor and raised his hands... WHY?

He rembered the days of the evil king Levi, who incarnated again and again in the Zulu lands. The friendship between the Inca and the Zulu was ended after another Levi incarnation. WHERE did you incarnate today? Levi... McArthur.... Hittites........?

Yahuar Huacac cared nothing about the Koreans.
When the Incan empire was invaded by barbarians and americans there was no help from the Koreans. The Koreans were far away. Nobody cared for the Koreans. Would the Hittites have only crumbled the cursed Koreans, that would have been acceptable.

                But Germany.....
When the Barbarians invaded Cuzco, the Germans aided us! Nobody had ever forgotten that! Nobody! Germany, our friends from the old ages.
Different religion, different culture. Not as close related to the Incan kind as the English, our eternal brothers. But still........ Germany meant friendship. "To be a German" meant the same as "To be a friend" in the incan tongue. "I'll be a German for you" meant that someone would show up to help in times of horror.

Later the Germans helped again in different circumstances. The German and Incan people never came really close to each other. Their economies stayed seperated. But still......... Germany, our friends in the south-west.

WHY did the Hittites invade Germany?
                There's no justice for that!
"Close our borders with the Hittites and end all help into their direction", Yahuar Huacac ordered.

"That will end our alliances with all nations around us!" one of his counselors told him.
The Americans, the English, the Carthagians..... they all side with the Hittites. Who'll help us when another McArthur stands up in America?

"Our friendship with the English will last, with or without the Hittites" Yahuar Huacac responded.
"And I doubt that our friendship with the Americans or the Carthagians will really end"
"But you are right, these choises may be honorable, but also risky."
"Close the borders for now, let me think about our ultimate reaction. It's to soon now to end all our alliances and declare our friendship with the Hittites void."

                • As he sat dieing mourning the loss of his only child carter thought back on his life. Germany had survived a two front war while had had to end a single front one less it destroy his country. Closeing his eyes he lost himself to memory.

The end of the 1st American Inca War
Carter rode up to the front and came across a group of talking soliders what he heard first distressed than please him when he remembered his own purpose.

"He has become insane I say how long have we been attacking this once city while the germans make even greater and greater discoveries?"

"He is our captin and we will obey him...peace someone approaches"

"Be not afraid" said carter "I come bearing news that you should know" Turning to the buddhist scholor on the horse next to him he said "Repeat what you told me"

"We have finished translating a copy of the words on the spear that was discovered that McCarter carries with him. Though it promises great power it also promises destruction not only to one's enemies by the entire world. This is why our leader has gone insane"

Upon seeing the amazement and disbelif on the faced of the soliders before him Carter went into one of the greatest speeched of his carrer. Analyizing the strategy of the war he showed how it not only had brought about the destruction of the inca but the Americans as well. In the end he convinved all but one of the soldiers but that proved not to be an imposition.

A plan of action was decieded upon. Every night Douglas drank tea one of the many habits he had taken up since the start of the war that seemed inexplicable. Though compared to his incistence on praying five times a day facing south this was mild. Using plants that carter had brought with him that tea would be poizined.

Waiting for the appointed time carter toured the troops and what he found hardened him even more toward his present course. Far from the spirited dedicated organized fighting force they had been the American army had become a dissorganized demoralized band of thugs.

As the appointed time approached carter entered Dogluses tent or Alhambra as he had insisted that it be called only to run out again at the sound of steel on steel.

As he exited the palace he saw a sword fight already in progress. A scantily clad girl shivered on the sildlines as two men fought teach other in the front of the tent. Elsewhere in the camp life continued almost at if nothing was happening.

As carter watched first the arm and then the leg of one of the men was removed but lieing on the ground he still fought on even though all could see his position was hopeless. Finally he was beheaded and the victor picked up the head and walked toward the entrance to the tent.

"He was going to inform McArthur of our plans" he told carter as he entered the tent.

"I have the head of a traitor" he told Douglus as he entered the tent. "place it outside with the others and leave his body where it fell"

Coming back outside the soilder placed the head on the point of the dead soilders sword and planted the sword in the ground in front of the tent. Only then did carter realize what the double row of "spikes" encircling the tent must really be and where the smell that he had assumed was just from a poorly maintained latrine was really coming from. Grimly he took the tea from the frightened girl and entered the tent.

"come with me inside" Carter told the soilder as he entered the tent. "I have your tea Douglus" he said as he entered the tent. Without a word Doglus took the tea and drank it down. Imeaditly his skin went white and his eyes began to close then they snapped open and in a voice at once Dogluses and at once not it spoke as it lunged toward carter using words Carter had never before heard. "No I will have my revenge on the world you will NOT kill my دُمْيَة!

Almost at once the soilder leaped in front of carter and ran his sword through what at one time had been his leader. Gore driping from his fingers he turned to Carter and asked is it over, when almost as if someone had covered the entire camp with black velvet all light was extinguished. "It was as I feared! The buddhist preacher screamed! Prepare yourselves the true enemy approaches."

Removing himself from the land of memory for a time Carter rang for his aide. "I have three letters for you to write. First inform the germans that we want the head of the war criminal who aided the Inca so many years ago as well as the other items that were promised us or our alliance will be at an end. Second inform the Inca that if our daughter comes to their lands we expect her to be returned to us. And third ask the zulu if they need assistance in there war. Remind them of how greatful we are for the assistance they rendered us, and the entire world, in the past.

Satisfied that his will would be carried out Carter retunred to the land of his memories.

                          • Egypt completed Versailles and started a new age of growth and achievement. Many cities added farms and produced enough food to expand its population base.

After sacrificing so many in the war, assisting Korea and Germany, the Egyptians have peace again and are increasing the size of their families.

Alas, Zulu has died. Our old friends from centuries ago. A memorial will be set up in memory of them.

                            • An urgent dispatch to our allies, Bismark, Ramses II, and Gojong:

As you all now know, England has chosen to, once again, adopt a policy of hostile take over of land from its rightful owners. The area in question is in the New World, where England went through considerable difficulty to ship a specialist all the way from their homeland to Coventry. This was witnessed by the Governors of Awdaghost and Mauryan just before the offensive Sistine Chapel was built in Coventry. This idolatrous Hindu monstrosity is an offense to Rasta and goes against the will of the peoples of Mali as well as the English citizens in Coventry who are Rastafarians as well.

We will not sit idly by as England steals our land. We feel strongly that England took Germany’s kindness regarding the issue of their cultural attack in the north of the New World as some kind of reinforcement that this kind of action is tolerable. There is definitely a pattern that should disturb us all and we feel that we must put a stop to this course of action once and for all.

So it is clear that England goes out of her way to provoke first Germany and now Mali. We ask our allies for support in our efforts to confront and put an end to England’s offensive policy of land grabbing before they try it again. To let this go unpunished will only be a sign to them to try it again on the next attractive piece of Terra they covet. We seek the council of our allies and we wish to inform of our plans to counteract this aggression from England. We will welcome any help, be it troops, money, or backing for our just cause.

Emissaries will be arriving shortly to discuss with you our options and to bring your official responses back.

                              • To England:

We wish to officially inform you of our grave concerns over your recent actions in Coventry. We witnessed your specialist builder enter Coventry and construct the Sistine Chapel. We find your decision to go thru the trouble to ship him from England to the New World irresponsible and troubling. It appears you have intentionally done this to steal land much in the same way that you used a specialist artist to steal land from our ally, Germany. The parallels are too great for coincidence.

We have a number of additional concerns also. You chose to build a great work celebrating the Hindu religion in the midst of Rastafarian land and this is a great insult to all Rasta’s in the area. Your local population of Jamestown and Coventry are Rastafarian and you are oppressing them by forcing this Chapel on them and it is especially insulting when we consider it would have been easier for you to build in your own Hindu country. As a matter of fact, Mali would have no cause for grievance if you had just done that.

Unfortunately, what is done cant be undone easily. We view this kind of hostile action as, in a worst case scenario, grounds for war and are currently in contact with our allies to discuss our options. We would welcome any explanation you might have for your callous actions.
