Hanz,
We are happy to join you in discussing the problem of the English and their hasty act of aggression. It is common knowledge that the English provoked you. You gave them fair and clear warning, which they ignored.
Mali stands firmly by your side on this matter. We feel you are in your rights to counter the English aggression in a measured way. We feel that any action up to and including disbanding of the offending city is fair. We would ask that if you decide to disband the city, you offer the English a settler in return so they can build in a mutually agreeable site, even the site they currently occupy. We realize that the problem isnt necessarily the placement of the city as the English continue to claim, but the use of the artist to take away workable land from the city you had already founded.
We have heard you say on many occasions that you were open to discuss with the English the founding of their cities in such a way so that neither nation would have cultural problems. We think this is very wise as it would go a long way to avoiding future conflict.
Lastly, we wonder if you have heard from Egypt regarding this issue? Up until now, all other parties have weighed in and we are curious as to their stance on this important issue.
