TOSRT = Trade Only Self Researched Techs (unlimited)
Maybe we can agree (early in the setup already) to go with TOSRT.
Then we may decide for HOTW9 to further finetune the tech trade system with 'open border' stuff etc.

Advanced Friendship

Hmm, maybe in addition to my former post, I'm not sure how difficult it is to mod in a new agreement-type "Advanced friendship" or something (less corny).
This "Advanced Friendship" has only one result: you can trade techs if you are in AF with someone.

That's enough for a diplogame, since you won't go into AF with everyone. It's somewhere between "allied" and "Open border".

CS u forgot to add me up there I said TOSRT too. And add Levi to the confirmed players, he said he will play with us I checked with him a couple of days ago.

And check on Capo before we add him officially to the list please (msg him or email him) We need that guy. get him in here to start posting

I hasten to add that outside of diplo Toni is the top player around.

We just have to strop him getting to the top of the diplo list...

I am definitely better in diplogames than I am at Civ overall. (though I did pretty good in the Rah game last night). But I don't really consider myself all that great. Maybe I just underestimate my abilities. I dunno. *shrug*

I think the Oz group can attest that I am not a whinging quitter. Maybe a whinger, but not a quitter.

If I commit to playing at time x, I will be there.


As for skill ... well ... someone has to take the bottom position.

GMT + 10 saturday evening (18:00-23:00 = evening, right?)
That's 08:00-13:00 saturday morning UTC
That's most probably around 02:00 - 07:00 am USA time (give or take an hour) (That's friday-saturday night)
