MD, yes that was the first game that i started using the shift point instead of the dropdown in the chat. Yes it is easier and yes I declared war once by accident also. BUT when it happens for the fourth time, you do have to get suspicious. I can see some people using this as a guarentee in the future. Even though it will telegraph an alliance that might want to be kept secret.

Yeah pinchak I'll post as early as i can on Saturday.
Just a reminder that I'll be in returning from prague the following saturday so I don't know when I'll be home.
I'm scheduled to arrive back around 3:30 central, but you never know.

I generally just refuse the peace treaty and only accept a cease fire unless I prefer the guarantee myself (of peace for 10 turns). You can still end war without a peace treaty, and since it tips your hand if you only do it <10 turns before an attack, I always cease fire when possible in that sort of situation.

Hopefully I'll have a little more room tonight (and/or masterdave doesn't randomly attack me )

Early start is okay with me, but I'm doing laundry and had estimated a 6pm start time, so I will have to wander off for 4-5 minutes at around 5:45 and 6:40 to get my laundry...
