If you agree to SMALL posts from me, I'd like to join the game as Egypt. It is the only civ I seem to have a better historical awareness of. No one can post as some as the old timers here, but I still would like to try. It drove me crazy to be a sub after I gave China to Frank. I think I'm hooked, but have less time to devote to writing. I will try to post something weekly, but it would be short. I tend to be rather busy.

Weekends are fine with me, but I have agreed to some afternoon events. At 1 pm Saturday, EDT I have a standing appointment for a game, which might change, but it looks pretty firm to me. Sunday I usually take Auntie to brunch, She likes to leave at 2 pm EDT, but we could make it earlier. It is the only thing I do with her all week, so it would be good to keep it going.

Has anyone thought of doing something completely weird with their civ's history? I was thinking along the lines of what Stargate did to Egyptian history and mythology, although you don't necessarily need to include aliens (with the possible exception of Ozzy ).

if you are wondering why I am writing the word exclamation mark instead of actually using an exclamation mark, then you probably havent been to prague. these czechs have completely messed up their keyboards. swapped the y and the z, and moved around all the signs. cant even find the friggin @, I had to copy paste it from somewhere.

anyway, the reason I am screaming aaaaaa is because, dont start without me exclamation mark exclamation mark.

I have looked at the new traits and I have fallen quite in love with a certain ahistoric figure. namely the vikings exclamation mark. ahistoric since, the vikings NEVER had horns on their helmets. when will you friggin americans stop trying to change history question mark exclamation mark.

of course, my recent visit to germany has made me quite germanophile and I am considering picking them up again. typical that the assembly plant comes now. imagine what I could have done with that under bismarck, exclamation mark

anyway, I think I will take the vikings since I cant see anyone claiming them earlier. though I have to think a little about it. cant wait to get back and get started. continued good summer to you all.
