Ok, I can play then. I think regardless whether we can get everyone together or not, we should all show up to try and test with Cyber. Since he seems to be the source of our problems.

Deity drops out when I join, he can't join when Ozzy is already in.

I'll do everything to solve the problems, but I do not agree that I'm the source of the problems. I can join without any problems, every game. I still think that somewhere in Deity's configuration something isn't right.

Well after you went to bed we tried another game, everything was the same except it worked this time. No problems at all.

But the problem we are discussing is a new problem that now seems to have gone away. We'll never know what it was I guess! Unless it re-appears when we ALL connect this week..

Yeah I did that. I host all the big Aussie games and don't have too many problems (unless someone has Warlords installed!!)

For months now I even bypass my router (despite Soren saying that it should be OK with correct port forwarding - which I do)

Many sessions have gone fine so it's weird that we got the above problem with you last week. I'm wondering if it's because i asked someone to load the game as SP to check Germany passwoprd. I think you loaded it as SP and then joined thge MP game after trying to host it as MP yourself. I suspect something went wrong at your end during this process and a reboot by you has fixed it.

Basically it's ALL yoyur fault Cyber and I don't want a repeat of it this week....

I think we need to worry less about the blame game and more about getting me AND LzPrst a sub. I have no problems with Omni, but I am thinking we try and avoid him this time around. As far as I am concerned I am going to try and find a sub over the next couple of days, if I can't find one I'll need help.

Someone should contact Nolan ahead of time though, to see if she'd be willing to sub for Germany again.

OR we could just skip this session

Doubt that will go over well, but my country is in such a transition period I would rather play Civ than do what I am doing Friday.

As far as the game issues are concerned; I wouldn't worry about whose problem it is, what we should worry about is whether or not it is going to happen again. We tried a few tests after everybody left, and it seemed like it was going pretty well, so in the meantime I think we should test it again on Wednesday or Thursday just to make sure.
