In the year of our Lord Alleh the Magnificent a Mali man by the name of Mahd Dali (peace be with him) left his home city of Gao to seek enlightenment in the Malinese desert. Here he was met by an Angel of Alleh, God in the Malirabic language (a particular dialect spoken in the borderlands of Mali and Arabia). The Angel gave Mahd (pbwh) a book wrapped in brown velvet and said, READ!

The uneducated man replied, I do not know how. But the Angel replied again READ! Mahd (pbwh) took the book and left the desert travelling to the capital of Timbuktu, here he learned to read and he began studying the Holy Book, the Quaran. Enlightened by its revelations Mahd (pbwh) returned to the deserts again and was given numerous new revelations.

The Prophet (pbwh) then returned to his native city Gao and in 1000 AD he began to preach his new faith, called Islam, against the heathens and the misguided jews and buddhist faiths that had pervaded the Mali.

Recognizing the jews and the buddhists as believers in the one true God but all others as false religions many heathens as well as jews and buddhists in Mali converted and began spreading the word to lands far and near.

All hail and hear the word of the Prophet Mahmd Dali (peace be upon him), there is but one God and Mahmd is his Prophet.

A history of the people of Mali prior to the coming of the Great Prophet Mahd Dali, peace be upon him.

Having spread near and far from their homeland of Titikakapooti Lake these distant trading posts grew to become cities of wealth and culture. Fiercely independent they refused any dominance by the capital Timbuktu, but participated in the great trading network carrying copper to lands near and far.

When the Mali people developed the working of Iron a great change flowed over the nation. The chief of Timbuktu converted to Buddhism, a faith that had spread in the capital and other Mali cities. He then declared himself superior by will of the Universe and Buddha and made himself King of all the Mali. The result was barely noticed. By use of trade and compromise Dakim Alima ensured a painless and bloodless revolution. The ruling tribes of all the cities were given status as Nobles with full disposition of their own lands as long as they accepted the rule of Timbuktu.

The Mali Kingdom was established. In the following years Dakim slowly built a great army to ensure his position and also managed to ensure unrivalled growth and prosperity. During his reign a great collection of all writings in the entire western world was gathered, Mali, English, Arabic and even some German and Russian texts were put into this magnificent Marble structure.

The Mali continued to prosper peacefully for many generations and the Kings of Mali grew and prospered.

          England's demise and rise

The great decline of the English seemed to be impossible to adress.
Queen Elizabeth I, had a good land and prospered with all
the food of the Edinbourgh River!

But lowe and behold, Her Majesty grew old and indifferent!

Culture dropped and the endless road networks grew.
Iron was lost to the Mali without payment.
Only the Longevity and Approval rating of the English was enviable!

          Finally succombing to Her illness,
she gave way to her daughter Elizabeth II.

May her reign be as long(!) as her Mother's!

New religions are afoot and stories of new lands must be true!
If the world be round, then we can use our routes to the West...

Send forth the ships! Brittain, rule the waves once more!

              Official declaration:

Robert LXXXI, ruler of Arabia declares:
So-called relgions that are founded outside Arabia can never hold any truth.
I urge all followers of one of the many true faiths to ignore the inly faith that can't be truth.
How can anything that comes from the Malinese be good if it concerns religion?

May the Malinese turn back as soon as possible from this heathen fake religion, and turn back to the many faiths of the holy land.

                From Khelifa Khahim Manamana
                To Robert LXXXI

Islam recognizes the truth of Monotheistic faiths. Judaism and Buddhism is not separated from our faith. Buddha represented the one true God, the maker, he who is in all things. Buddha was a great prophet and mystic. The jewish people have always accepted the one true God as the only God. All other faiths are lies.

Hinduism with their many gods who are nothing but the spirits (djenni) of god worshipped as god. This is a false truth.
Christianity with its polytheistic division of the One God into three Gods.
Taoism and Confucianism do not even reflect the one true God, they are merely codes of conduct, though we respect certain aspects of these codes of conduct it is based on man and not on Alleh, and therefore are also false.

We implore all people to accept the rule of the one true God as revealed to Mahmd Dali the Prophet, Peace be forever upon him.

                  Cultural Pact

                  Open Letter

                  From: Queen Elizabeth II
To: Khelifa Khahim Manamana, Khelifa of the Prophet (pbuh)

The people of England have been influenced from both Arabia and Mali for hundreds of years. We, in our gratious wisdom, have decreed that the people's will shall be followed as far as possible, as my Mother did.

The People have become taken with the teachings of the Great Prophet Mahd Dali, peace be upon him!

I suggest a Cultural Pact between the Mali and English:

                  - Continued open boarders
                  - Religious and Commercial right of way between Mali and English
                  - Exchange of Wealth and Resources in times of distress and natural disasters
                  - Geographic exchanges

Would the Mali confirm our long and prosperous relations?

                  Her Omnipotentness,

Queen Elizabeth II of England, The Isles and Beyond

A few lessons religion from the Holy Land:

                    - Buddhism doesn't believe in one god, in fact buddhism, except some hinduistic influenced denominations, believe in no god and are atheistic.

                    - The Quran speaks about christianity as the religion most close to Islam (together with Judaism)
Jesus (Isa) is the 2nd greatest prophet (After Muhammed) and will return on judgement day. (not Muhammed)
The Quran speaks about christians as people of the book, the Bible is a holy book for the Muslims, though they believe that the current version of the Bible has been corrupted. For that reason I'm quite surprised that you as the religious leader of the Muslims place Buddhism above christianity.

Perhaps Buddhism should have been founded in Arabia after all. I had a vision in which Islam was an Arabic religion, and all other religions were forbidden in arabic territory............ strange, since the reality is that all religions are arabic but islam.....

Perhaps Arabian interpretations are different from Mali interpretations. As we understand buddhism, such as it has been part of our way of life for generations prior to the coming of the Prophet (pbuh), it speaks of the unity of all creation and how man can achieve enlightenment by understanding this unity. This is not far from the semi-radical sufi movements within Islam, nor very far from more orthodox interpretations. All creation is by God and therefore seeking to understand creation and achieve peace with it is a way of seeking God. The 8 wheelspokes of Buddhism as we see them resemble closely the 5 pillars of Islam. The two are not mutually exclusive nor contradictory.

Furthermore the Quaran as it is written in Malinese should not be translated as this is clearly the cause of your misunderstandings. It is Siddharta, or Buddha as he is known that we hold to be the most revered prophet after Mahd, (pbuh), we ask that you do not Arabisize his name into Muhammed.

Jesus or Isa is to us a religious thinker, not a prophet, and although some of his teachings are not in direct contrast to Islam and the Quaran as seen by the Mali and interpreted through the teachings and traditions, hedith and sunneh, they are misleading in the larger picture. There is noone between man and God, yet Jesus claims that man must go through him to come to God, this is false. Christianity has also as far as I understand it divided God into Three separate distinct beings. This cannot be as God is only one and is beyond divisions of any nature.

Part of the reason Mahd was given his revelations were to counter the erroneous interpretations of God made by other religions.

The reason we revere judaism is because it is the first Monotheistic religion and the first stepping stone of man to achieve God's grace and blessing, yet Judaism is merely like the simplified explanations told to children who cannot yet understand the full meaning of life.

Buddhism also has a special place with Islam because it values the closeness of man and creation, and thus by extension, man and Alleh.

These two faiths we cherish and treasure, but we hope they will in time come to realize that the true worship of God is through Islam. It is like those who eat their food before it is properly cooked. It will feed you and nourish you, but it is less pleasant to eat and difficult to digest.

We hope our words have convinced you of the truth of our faith so that you will see the light and shed your old and failed ways.

                      Peace to you.

                      Khelifa Khelim

(ooc. in case you havent noticed the islam of Terra is developing slightly different from that of Earth)

Slan Kharsk II, sat once more at his office desk, reading over the most recent letter sent from Arabia his assistant had just given. His eyes slowly went over the paper until he clenched it tightly in his right hand, using the other to grip the edge of the desk as he rose from the chair, staring down at the desk as he spoke, to seemingly anyone or thing:

"Lies! Unbelievable-these Malinese, founding their own religion, no doubt only to seperate and divide the people of Russia-of Eastern Terra!" He slammed his fist into the desk, his gaze still cast downwards, although the veins in his neck were visible as he continued to raise his voice. "An outrage! None of this will be had-Mali only wishes to make England it's puppet, then to conquer Russia with it's cannon fodder, no doubt!"

He let the crumpled parchment fall onto the desk, turning so he faced the window overseeing the city of Moscow as he regained his compusure, taking in a deep breath. "Let it be known to the proper...authorities, the only faith meant for Russia is Judaism-we will show all of Terra how mighty both Russia and it's religion are." He turned around, the assistant quickly standing straight at attention. "Yes, mi lord. I'll see to it at once!" With haste, he once again left for the hallway, but not before being stopped with a sudden slam of the desk.

"And let it also be known Russia will have nothing to do with western nations, until they admit that Judaism is both equal and greater then this false faith that has come about." Slan quickly nodded his assistant off, lowering himself back into his chair, his eyes caught the letter once more, and he quickly threw it into the fireplace before looking up to the painting of Gorgei Kharsk, the founder of monarchist Russia. "Russia shall not let you down, great father, never." The upcoming winter would indeed be a bitter one.

                            Timbuktu

To: Khelifa Khahim Manamana, Khelifa of the Prophet (pbuh)

                            Sir!

I regret to inform you that Her Majesty is conserned by the lack of reply.

This is an Outrage and an Insult to the Royal Personage!

Is this another sign of Mali aloofness or some symptom of the new religion?

I will remind You that the English throne is still Jewish, and that lacks of formal respect might persuade Her Highness to not follow the will of Her people in Her Wisdom!

Please address any reply (if it can be mustered) to myself, as the Queen is in no mood to recieve any.

                            Sincerely

This is what I received in writing only days ago. We at the foreign ministry have of course every intention of responding positively to your generous offer. We must of course apologize most fervently for our lack of commitment to the urgency of this issue as there has been a slight dip in work capability in the departement of foreign affairs lately since 2/3s of our staff has left Timbuktu to spread Islam to the far corners of the world. I am of course personally responsible for this fault and I will humbly apologize to your queen for our inefficiency and step down from my position of master of diplomacy as soon as the Khelif can find a suited replacement.
