All hail Queen Elizabeth I, Ruler of the Brittish Mainland, Isles and Beyond!
Plenty be thy Cities, Elephants and Other Domesticated Creatures!
In times before time has diplomacy prevailed between Brittain and Her neighbours. The relocation of London (in the Mali Hinterlands) to Central England was a Success.
Cows and Corn have given many new emigrants to wander the earth from Edinbourgh our noble City. Now our ships sail the unchartered seas and Brittons rule the Waves!
Our people have taken to a local God (or ten ) in the south.. We do not know what to think of this, but what the people yerns they get!
Our Workers have constructed The Great Road to our neighbours in the south and bring good copper north.
Song #114:
Blessed be the Gratious Queen.
Her Yoke is Easy!
Her Burden is Light!
The people of Russia had been nomadic and seperated for thousands of years, until some time around the time of 4,000 BC. A man named Viktor Vistraiykn then united the city of Moscow and the rural area around it. His rule was very strict, making sure that none of the tribes would break off from the new state.
Vistraiykn ordered that scouts be sent in all directions around Moscow, to explore and map the surrounding areas. It didn't take long until these explorers discovered the German Empire to their east, and the Arabians to their west. The most famous of these travellers was called Basjin, who eventually mapped out the entire river running form the North Sea to Arabia. Shortly after his death, he would have the river named after him.
Despot Vistraiykn had grown old by this time, and his knowledge had grown immensly. Looking at the maps Basjin and others had made, he decided that the two empires on either sides of his had to be seperated, or it could mean destruction of his own nation.
In his last writing, the despot ordered that a city be built both north and south of Moscow, so that the Russian Empire would have authority of any travelling done between Arabia and Germany.
Since his death, Russia has experienced a peaceful existence, eventually converting to Judaism after years of influence from it's Arab neighbours. However, as a new age dawns on Terra's existence, Russia has found itself without the important materials of neither copper nor iron, and troops of settlers have been sent journeying to the west in hope of gaining such resources. Whether or not Russia's soon-to-be neighbours will look kindly upon this event however, remains to be seen.
The leader of the Germanic people Reinhart von Musel, awoke from a dreadful dream, then dashed out onto the palace balcony over looking the sea. He seemed to doubt his surroundings and called urgently for his favorite mistress. Annarosa rushed to the side of her Emperor.
"What troubles you my lord? You seem pale."
The Emperor seemed to be getting ahold of his senses. "I had the most horrible dream. It was cold. Strange trees grew in every direction and were covered in some white substance. In every direction Germany's enemy raised their clubs and spears. They brutally slaughtered our animals surrounded us in every direction...our warriors they set out....".
"My lord, it was only a dream. Look around you." Annarosa gently held the Emperor and directed his sights out to the sea. "We are in the warm embrace of the sea that you love so much. All along its path are the seafarers, farmers, and warriors. Your people, that love you as much as you love the land that you rule."
The Emperor stopped and viewed the Great Light House, that dominated the shore. "Yes, how silly of me. I think I drank a bit too much of that Russian fellows...whatever it was last night." The warm sea breeze calmed the senses of the Emperor. He walked back into his chamber and flopped on his fine feathered ivory framed bed and summonded his prime minister.
"What business do we attend to today?"
"My lord, you have not forgotten have you? Today we are to enshrine the oracle."
"Ah the oracle. She mystifies even me. Isn't that strange? But she has been right more than once, or the people would not love her second to myself."
"Your robes my lord?"
"Yes bring them quickly, I dislike these gatherings, but all the nobles will be expecting us now won't they?"
On the shores of the great sweet lake of Titikakapooti, the great leader Hakim Alima said the name of the lake 3 times in a row so quickly and perfectly that he was instantly acknowledged as the most capable man of the tribe and thus became the Ruler of the Mali.
His people settled on the southern shore of the great lake where the words were spoken. Hakim then surveyed the growth of his people and saw that it was good. He sent his warriors to explore the northeastern lands and found a small village of Hoola-Patoolas who provided much knowledge of the world. They spoke of a great evil to the north, hideous barbarians with sharp pointy teeth and their masters, the ENGRISH!
Hakim's warriors fell prey to these evil savages and were eaten alive! Oh such horror! -cried Hakim and called for vengeance and the strengthening of his people.
Over the years the Mali spread and conquered new lands. They met the English to the north, who were themselves victims of the foul barbarians and they allied together and crushed the foul monsters. To the east of Mali lay a great people in a paradisical land, the unhappy Arabians. Yet with time the unhappy Arabs sought to end their unhappiness and did in this pursuit discover codes of conduct and GODS in the heavens and the earth. One of these faiths spread to the Mali capital, TIMBUKTU! And the Mali adopted BUDDHISM as their faith.
They also chased away the English from their shores and through their might a great peace was called that would last a thousand years. Or something like it.
Mali now having expanded and settled their land discovered the secret of IRON WORKING! And found much Iron. And Horses, and Copper, and other... things, aplenty. More than you anyway! Hah!
So endeth the Reign of Hakim. His son Dakim Alima took his fathers place and he too spoke the words of the holy Lake THRICE! And he was accepted as Chief. And there was much rejoicing.

I looked out of my window.
I saw the woods and the river.
The children who were playing on the city main square.
They sang judaistic songs. Their beautiful voices filled the air. There was peace and hapyness.
The Jewish capital of the world.
Home of monotheism.
The faith that was chosen to spread all over the world and unite the nations.
Then there was screaming.
Women ran over the square, took their children in their arms and ran away with fear in their eyes.
One stumbled and falled upon the ground, laying there with her eyes wide open and an arrow in her back. Her child cried.
Then I saw them, foreign german warriors running into the city. Killing everyone that crossed their path. Suddenly the air was filled with anger and hate.
Why?
The houses of th city burned.
Why?
No one was left alive.
Why?
The warriors surrounded me and aimed their arrows at me.
This is the end.......!
Sire sire.......!
Wake up!
I opened my eyes. All I saw was my own room in my palace back at Recca. And my servants with their eyes wide open staring at me.
It was only a dream.
The razing of Mecca never happened.
Sweat was all over my face.
My heart was still at speed and my head hurted.
"This shall never happen" I spoke loud out.
"Why should chilren be killed while chanting their religious songs?"
"Women should not be shot in their back when they try to save their children."
"Arabia should be a free place for those who seek safety. Home to the world religions. There shall be no war as long as I live"
"It was only a dream, sire", one of my servants said.
"A dream it was, and it will never be reality" I responded.
From that day on sunday april 16th would always be celebrated as the "The Dream of the King memorial day".
It was from that moment on that Arabia was home of the world religions and all people from all nations headed to the holy cities of the Arabian empire where they could freely worship their gods.

The old blind man sat in front of the Jewish Temple in Berlin. In exchange for the stories he told, people would bring him food, sometimes a blanket or other nice item that would otherwise be hard to come by to an old blind man with no family left. After sometime he became known as a masterstory teller, and was even quartered in the temple by a scholarly priest there. This is just one of his stories.
"Children, do you know of the origins of the German peoples? Come I will tell you how it is our people came to be in this world."
"Originially all life came from the sea. The land was dark and filled with burning rocks and fire. With time, the cool rains tempered the hot earth, and life sprang onto the land. God brought forth Man, to tend to the Earth that he made fruitful. Though in this time, Man could not comphrend God. God sent servants down from the heavens, and naturally the people worshiped these servants as Gods in their ignorance of God. But God was not angered because he knew the people were still young and did not have the law of God in their hearts. He sent down a servant to the German people, to give them three gifts so that they may flourish."
"The angel appeared before the Cheiftain of the Germans to give him the three gifts. The angel spoke to the assembled people."
'To you, I give the three gifts of God. From them you shall grow numbers and powerful.'
'To you, the Cheiftain of the Germans, I give the gift of the river, for it is the leaders role to bind the people together as the river will bind the German people together. Let the daughters of the line carry the land here, so to unite all the people of Germany.'
'To the great warriors and adventurers of the wilds, I give the gift of the Earth. From this you will obtain great wealth, and with time you will be made fruitful. From the highest hill your kin shall produce Germany's protectors.'
'To the seafarers and traders I give the gift of the Sea. From this you shall not want for food, nor fear great distances. You shall be brought great wealth and the future will become your domain.'
"And from this the three tribes of Germany were formed, as the three great cities."
A child spoke up, "Old man, what of the land of the lost? My daddy said we can go there someday. That our relatives there must be wealthy by now. They had many sheep and amazing stones that shined like the sun itself. I want to go there when I grow up."
"Ah, you speak of the wanders of the sea. Germans learned to master the sea long before other races. We are connected to it in a special way. The lost tribe of Germany set out across the sea, beyond the Russian lands, to the Holy Empire. Alas, it has been long since any German from the mainland has setfoot there. They even lack the true word of God, it saddens my heart."
"Why don't we use a boat Old Man? I want to go there."
"My child, it is impossible, on one side are Russian Pirates, on the other the perils of the frozen sea."
"NO! I want to go there! I want to see my ancestors! I want Gems! I wanna ride a sheep! I'll do it! I'll show you! I'll make the best boat ever!" With that challenge the child stormed off.
"Ah youth, but the future does belong to you, young seafarer."

After nearly four milenia of ruling Russia, the government Vistraiykn had built and furnished was suddenly overthrown by a new, even more supressing rule: the Kharsks. In 620 BC, a coup in Moscow brought the Kharsks to power, and unrest immediately grew in both Novgorod and St. Petersburg. Leader of the Kharsks, was a man called Gorgei.
Gorgei Kharsk made three immediate decisions following the change of power in Moscow:
1) He declared Russia now to be ruled by monarchy, power only given to those in the royal family.
2) He ordered that all military units be given the newest and deadliest material and equipment, turning Russia's obsolete warriors into axemen and spearmen.
3) Feeling that Russia had been losing it's power slowly over the past years, he had the southern coastline between Germany and her colony near Arabia closed. Arabia is the only nation able to pass through this location, though Gorgei may even change this in his craze of power.
Although the Kharsk's claimed power in 620, they did not realistically begin rule of the entire empire until roughly 614. In these six years, many small villages and farmers on Russia's eastern border craved to join with Germany, seeing such beautiful works as the Pyramids, and the glowing Oracle as a testament to what used to be Russia's glory. King Kharsk I (Gorgei) quickly had this dissent, and along with it, any idea of rebellion flattened, as Russia's newly equipped armies silenced them.
The new monarchy however, has struggled, but slowly begin to flourished as despot Russia had in the BC's. Despite having a tipsy treasury, King Kharsk XVI was able to construct acqueducts in all three of Russia's cities, making them some of the cleanest and healthiest places on Terra itself. He also had markets built, bringing Russia's financial crises to an end.
The latest ruler, Slan Kharsk II, is known for his isolation, and some rumour hatred, of all things non-Jewish, and more primarily, non-Russia. He accepts both Germany and Arabia as nations he can trust. But Slan II has pointed out in many of his courts and hearings that Mali's first encounter with Russia was that of shunning them away, and threats. Although Russia has always flexed it's power, it's latest ruler may be the one to unleash it's full-force.
A man sumbled inside the Palace of Robert LXXXI.
"Sire.............."
"There's something that's totally unheard of!"
"Speak", the king said.
"The rumor spreads that the Malinese speak about some god named Allah........."
"They make it sound like it's a whole new religion........ but their holy city is a Malinese city..........."
"And you're not the head of the religion.........."
The King laughed for a while and said: "That's a good joke! How would that be possible? What else comes from the Malinese? First we were unable to continue on our great library because they apparantly already build such a library, and now you say this? The Malinese people are a great and mighty nation! And they're good neighbours. Why do you come with such nonsense?"
"I'd rather have you spread the new ideology of Tao, which is quite unknown in the known world!"
The King walked away, speaking loud against himself.
"What's going on in this world? First the Germans claim the world is round, now this............... what's next? The world is becoming insane, I tell you!"
Slan Kharsk II nodded to his assistant as he left the room. Looking down at his beautifully carved desk, there lay two maps rolled up, laying next to each other. He raised an eyebrow as he lay back into his chair, carefully unrolling the first map.
Shortly following his unrolling of the map, the king's assistant once again entered his chambers, speaking softly as to not interupt his leader, "Sire-" but was quickly stopped with the lift of a finger, Slan's eyes never leaving the parchment before him. "Josef, what are these maps of? None of Terra looks like this." His eyes continued to dance over the first map, while beginning to unroll the second.
"Sire, they are new lands chartered by our explorers, they were discovered just a few months ago by-" "I don't care who discovered it, as long as they are Russian. They are, aren't they?" The question sounded more as if Slan was informing the assistant of something then asking, and his cold tone seemed to offer that there was only one correct answer.
"W-well yes, your excelency, b-but you see..." Just as a second of silence grew in the room, Slan looked up at the man, who's cheeks had been growing whiter by the minute. "Wonderful, it would be most unfortunate to hear otherwise." The king then took view of the assistant's hands, now shaking around another piece of rolled parchment.
"What's that? No, not the damn maps, in your hands." The king's assistant nervously stepped up to the desk, laying the paper on the desk, standing still only until Slan give him a slow nod after opening the roll. "Yes...you may go." The letter had carried the seal of Germany, and Slan took his time carefully reading it before standing, looking at the maps and letter on his desk and then turning to the large window facing the Basjin river, taking in a deep breath as he watched the numerous ships going up and down the docks.
"It is time for Russia's fate to be realised, no longer will we be pushed around by those Malinese highwaymen...nor influenced by Arabian kingsmen. Russia begins anew today!" He stood in front of the window for another while, then nodding approvingly of his latest theory, sat back down at his desk, wettening his quill to write a letter in reply...
Germany had always been a nation whose fate rested on the sea. They had little choice in the matter. Mainland Germany held but 3 great German cities, which contained the sum of thousands of years of German culture, labor, and science.
The first great explorers set sail in a new breed of ships called caravels. Germany had a bit of "self" exploration to do as well. After hundreds of years of isolation, the Germanic peoples of the Holy Land were integrated back into the German Union. Missionaries finally brought the true word of God to the decendants of the settlers who left so long ago. There was a great feeling of joy throughout Germany at this event. Confedance was building in Germany's seafaring abilities.
The next expedition would go where no one had gone before. Straight out into the eastern sea, far from the sight of land. As many of the great shcolars had predicted, this great mass of ocean could be crossed. The German explorers set foot in a land that was strange to them. Some expected to see the culture of the Mali or perhaps English, because they had thought the world was round and could reach such lands by going east as well as west, but the few people the Explorers met were neither English nor Mali. In fact they could hardly be called civilized at all. At more than one turn on the expedition, the brave German explorers were assaulted by the foul smelling peoples who inhabited this strange land. Fending off the assaults, the explorers exacted tribute from the tribes throughout the new lands. Others continued to resist however.
The expedition returned with gold, spices, slaves, horses, and other notable items. Berlin's port was spinning even faster than usual, with ships coming and going, seeking more of these far flung lands.
One enterprizing young merchant was not willing to bet his life on finding some golden trinkets in some barely populated land. The Great Merchant Krichest as he eventually became to be known as had set his sights on trade of the highest level in the Mali capital. Impossible by land, he made the long journey by sea, eventually reaching the Mali capital. One can only speculate how rich this man became before he passed on, indeed he very nearly had his own district within the capital of Berlin to his name in his prime, where space is quite at the premium. The only record that remains that sheds light on his riches is the tax record for the German Union. It claims to have received "Four Thousand, Five Hundred, Fifty-two golden Reichsmarks," for "Trade duties, port fees, diplomatic expenses, and naval escorts" listed under "Krichest Western Mali Trade Company". With the advent of such profitable trade, the tax burden was removed from the common man in the Empire. The people deticated themselves to learning and culture.
The Protectors of Germany were funded beyond previous expectations. One minister went on the record while visiting the Blessed City of the Earth, "There is not a single man serving in the armed forced who does not appear throughly healthy and well maintained. When assembled the men of barracks streach farther than the eye can easily see without aid. It is a wonder how such an army could be coordinated in battle. For equipment there is not a foot soldier who has not been assigned a fine breastplate of iron or bronze, as well as a helmet and greeves of similar construction. As to weapons they are numberous, and to each soldier is given multiple spears, both for throwing and stabbling, as well as maces, bludgeons, swords, and other side arms. As to bowmen, whom for a great time had fallen out of favor, there is renewed interest. Great ranks of men carrying bows tall as themselves seem content to forget the old ways of war and rain arrows on their marks from afar. The cavalry is as numerous as any time in our history, some crazy general even purchased an entire herd of Elephants and placed archers on small carts upon their backs. I call him crazy, but I would not want to find myself against such beasts on the field of battle either."
