UN Issues Sanctions Against Russia!
Delhi, India - After a serious of aggressive diplomacy, military build-ups, nationalist fervor, and slanderous insults and accusations the United Nations has succeded in seeing a peaceful resolution to the Sino-Soviet conflict. The conflict began a few years ago when Chinese coal and oil deposits were targets of what was initially believed to be a terrorist plot. However, evidence began to point towards the Russian Soviet Socialist Republics (RSSR), and China demanded indemnities or threatened to invade the Communist state. For Spain's part, the new goverment under dictator Franco agreed to abide by their own Mutual Defense Treaty, and join the war on the side of the Chinese. The situation further escalated when a similar attack took place in the English colony of Vandal not long after the initial Chinese attacks. It was after this that Secretary General Mohandas Gandhi of India intervened, citing a need to prevent global war. After a heated debate, including one portion where the Indian representative accused the Falange of taking part in the deaths of Miguel Primo de Rivera and former Prime Minister Juan Prim y Prats. Following this, the Secretary General called for order and an amount discussed; initially the Chinese demanded a payment of 20,000 Gold. This figure was later turned into a series of payments of 50 GPT to China, and 5 GPT to England for the attacks. Despite their willingness to accept this, the Russians denied responsability for the attacks. Following the meeting two more attacks struck Chinese civilian targets, as well as an American mine.

General Franco Suspends Parliamentary Elections!
Madrid - The Fascist Dictator, General Francisco Franco y Bahamonde, has announced the suspension of the upcoming Parliamentary elections citing "a period of international crisis and uncertainty" as cause for concern. This comes at a time when quality of life in Spain is beging to wane and moderate candidates in specific areas of Spain are beging to show signs of political strength. Candidates such as Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero who was quoted saying; "I believe in the early stages of the Falange government it was necessary to do certain things that may have been unconstituational... now this has changed, and we can begin to open up Parliament to new ideas." This comes at a time when the Falange is begining to lose support, as many Spaniards have begun to question the motives of Falangist leaders. Despite this, General Franco is more popular than ever as many Spaniards cite his willingness to stand up to foreign leaders as reason for their support. "Crime has fallen, there are hardly anymore foreigners taking our jobs, and my children can grow up as proper Spaniards." Franco has yet to announce when elections shall resume.
Antonio Van Leeuwenhoek Founds Academy in San Pedro!
San Pedro - Renowned Microbiologist Antonio Van Leeuwenhoek has used the proceeds from a patent on some of his most imortant discoveries to develop the Van Leeuwenhoek Academy of Biology in the Bolivian city of San Pedro. However his greatest discoveries were in the arts of Microscope lenses' Leeuwenhoek's interest in microscopes and a familiarity with glass processing led to one of the most significant, and simultaneously well-hidden, technical insights in the history of science. By placing the middle of a small rod of lime glass in a hot flame, Leeuwenhoek could pull the hot section apart like taffy to create two long whiskers of glass. By then reinserting the end of one whisker into the flame, he could create a very small, high-quality glass sphere. These spheres became the lenses of his microscopes, with the smallest spheres providing the highest magnifications. An experienced businessman, Leeuwenhoek realized that if his simple method for creating the critically important lens was revealed, the scientific community of his time would likely disregard or even forget his role in microscopy. He therefore allowed others to believe that he was laboriously spending most of his nights and free time grinding increasingly tiny lenses to use in microscopes, even though this belief conflicted both with his construction of hundreds of microscopes and his habit of building a new microscope whenever he chanced upon an interesting specimen that he wanted to preserve. Leeuwenhoek made good use of the huge lead provided by his method. He studied a broad range of microscopic phenomena, and shared the resulting observations freely with groups such as the English Royal Society. Such work firmly established his place in history as one of the first and most important explorers of the microscopic world. With regards to the construction of his microscopes, however, Leeuwenhoek maintained throughout his life that there were aspects of their construction "which I only keep for myself," including in particular his most critical secret of how he created lenses. His new Academy is expected to boost Spanish science and technology. (From Wikipedia.com)

More Attacks in China, America.
Beijing, China - Despite the UN Resolution calling for sanctions against Russia in the form of indemnities to both China and England, the secret attacks ensued; one of which was directed at civilian targets. The Beijing suburb of WuXai was hit in it's business district, which is one of the most important in all of China, nobody knows for sure how many were killed, but the estimate is in the thousands. The other attack occured in America, and was targeted at an iron mine near the city of Robington. Of the 153 miners, only one named Al Gore survived; "something was trown into the mine from the entrance.... It rolled passed me into the dept.... behind me I heard an explosion and I was trowed against the floor. I don't remember anything from there on. I hate it that the mine has been destroyed. All my coleagues are death. If I wouldn't have walked that fast because I had to pee, then I would've been death as well[sic]." It is disheartening to see such a travesty against humanity as the American education system, and the attack was pretty brutal too.
Brian Thatcher Named Secretary General of the United Nations!
London, England - Brother (?) of English Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Brian Thatcher has been named the second Secretary General of the United Nations, defeating incumbant Mohandas Gandhi by a slim margin. "Most of the votes probably went to Thatcher because of Gandhi's handling of the Sino-Soviet conflict," says Spanish Foreign Minister Angel Sanz-Briz "Russia deserved much harsher penalties." However many believed his election to be an act of politics, as many of the votes for Thatcher came from member states of the Resource Defense Pact (RDP). This became evident when the Americans announced in an official statement;
Adolfo Suarez-Gonzalez, a former member of Prime Minister Juan Prim y Prats' cabinet has noted to the Monitor that; "It is clear by America's displeasure that state's whose politics do not agree with those of the RDP were bothered by Thatcher's election, and thus shows the value of a pro-RDP Secretary General."
Nuclear Proliferation Repealed!
Delhi, India - In an amazing change of policy the United Nations revisited the Nuclear Ban Treaty, established by former Secretary General Mohandas Gandhi. "We support the actions of the German people in this endeavor" said Dictator Franco, "If you ban a technology that is not understood by humanity, you ban the quest for knowlege." However critics of the Falange have voiced their outrage, citing "aggressive intentions" for Spain's support of the repeal. Initially the repeal of the Nuclear Ban Treaty was forwarded by German Hauptfuhrer Azimov Kimpler. Gandhi had promised under his administration to put the question on the table, but it wasn't until Thatcher that this actually came to fruition. As of now all testing of nuclear activity for any purpose is allowed.

Fight Against Franco!
by Adolfo Suarez-Gonzalez
I must show my gratitude to those who read this paper and understand that the dictator Francisco Franco is a murderous thug and must be stopped! How do you do this? Well you've got to educate the public, you've got to do little things to show the rest of Spain that Franco is not totally in control, that he is weak. Spray grafitti, write leaflets, hang up Republican flags, do anything you can to show Spain that this is not the only way. I know it is difficult, and you may be aware that I myself have left Spain for a while, but it is out of necessity. I want you to realize that there ARE people in Spain fighting for the greater good, and the return of true democracy to our great land. I have traveled through both Russia and China, and have seen the countrysides waiting for war, fearing the looming war. They both have the same worries, and the same hopes; we must bring democracy about worldwide to abate the threat of war. Men like Franco, and Kimpler, and Stalin are a threat to global peace and security. States build their military, like the Falange have done in Spain only ensure future warfare and struggle. We must have democratic rule, the people WILL NOT vote to kill themselves. I urge all Spaniards to stand up to Franco, for he will be Spain's downfall.
