Well im free all day sunday to play you buggers. Im normaly free every sunday, Toni stuffed up the week before saying he was busy so i made plans. Wep layed 5 hours saturday and 3 on sunday thats not bad for a weekend. Considering the 5 was wasted as you guys are to peaceful. You guys need to liven up a bit, make it more exciting, panzies.

Anyway whats the plan for saturday. If trev is around early i can play, but if hes unsure and not going to be here till later i would like to make plans for saturday.

So let me know, if trev is free we can play, if not im going out.

I'm still a bit bothered that we stopped a game where Toni was winning and then not given him a restart in the new game.

Personally I don't like asking for restarts but if it ends up being totally disadvantageous, like Frank's ice start, then I'm flexible.

We need to have a clear rule on this.

I will be here on Sat and Sun as usual. Deity thanks for caring mate, I was able to secure some playable land, but needed to stretch quite a bit, but now Trev is threatening me that I came to close to his civ. Haha as usual mike with his big month, can’t wait to see how he plays out this game .

Mike can u wait till Friday see what trev will tell us about the Sat and then maybe make your plans? From what i see we are good to go Sun 100% just need Friday to know for sure about Sat

About the restart issue, the problem here is that when other people start off with a great start or something nice most of the time they won't care about the others request for a restart. The thing I most hate or pissed me off is when they start mentioning oh I had a bad start before so I don't care now that u got one, I deserve mine. I'm not pointing fingers to anyone here, but as deity said it will be best to get some rules in places when this happens again. Just for the record every game till now we had, I had no problem with someone wanting a restart in the 1st 10 turns or so..

I'll wait till tonight. Good if trev can make it on saturday we can get a few long sessions in.

On restarts i dont mind restarting as long as its with in the first few turns. However im also of the opinion that you play the land you get in multiplayer games. Its ok to do lot of restarts when you only got 2 people playing. When you got 5 there will probably alway be some one who gets a bad start. So if we restart it may be me or some one else who gets a bad start. Ive had my fair share of junky starts the last few games. My last game besides by cap which was not so good, i had the choice to expand into pure jungle or desert. Just bad luck, you make them ost of what you got.

My start in this game is far from ideal, its just average. Im happy to play on or restart, but if we restart i wont accept being dumped with crap land for myself when others have restarts. So we will likely start and endless cycle of restarts as each play complains about there start.

Dont worry toni, if Trev gets to frisky to you my Pratorian, Axemen, Pult armies will pour over his borders. On the same note though, you should develope the land you have been dealt, (jungle) its slow going but it get chopping quick jungle will turn into very productive land. If you do expand close to other player instead of developing your own land, it will cause conflict.

I am working tomorrow, but the indications are in will be a short day, finishing in the morning, so I should be free to play all afternoon, I will aim for a 1pm liftoff.

An interesting weekend game, a continuation from last weekend, but with many war declarations, frank on trev initially, pretty much a stalemate, with 1 city changing hands 5 times before peace was declared, then trev on toni, peace quickly declared after Mike gifted Toni with a substantial number of knights and probably longbowmen also, which made capturing Toni's cities impossible.
Late in the afternoon Frank declared war on Toni, and Mike responded with an immediate declaration on Frank. Several turns later to even the odds Trev declared war on Mike. These wars are continuing, no city losses yet to my knowledge, but frank has lost large numbers of units in particular, mike is losing units to the stronger cavalry, but as their number is not large yet, they are not yet a serious threat to him, war outcome there will depend a lot on how quickly mike can also learn Military Tradition and begin building the cavalry.

We usually play around 1 or 2pm Sat and Sundays.

Current games will prevails but if someone doesn't show we usually start a new game for the combo of players online.
