What Civ and leader for our first game?

My first was Napoleon and he was cool he wasn't well like by the religious civs but interestingly fell well in with at an early stage Kublai Khan warmongers of the world unite,...!

My recent game was plagued by Montezuma who with every passing age attacked me and only me[playing as Egpyt]..in the end the advent of modern weapons saw him come once to often and i lost...

I quite fancy taking on his civ in my next game...
