Finns: No leader (evil hordes have no leader, thankfully)
Aggressive, aggressive (2 free promotions for all units, free barracks & shipyard)
UU is laplander, kind of like a berserker but riding on an elk
UB is Finn Radio, +1 happy to all Finns but -2 to all civs in contact with Finns and have radio (finnish deathmetal bands)
Only restriction is they autoraze all non-Finn cities they capture.
    I'm consitently stupid- Japher
I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Also -1 per city on food but + 2 to both parties on positive relations effect of military alliance when one party is the Finns.

Also, to modify Theben's input a little, the Finn's have a leader, but he has no traits -- a figurehead who can't influence the Evil Horde. The Laplander (on elk) is a replacement for the chariot with a 5 attack but no beginning retreat chance. "We never back down," say the Finns with a history to prove it.

Especially the women..even when they know they are wrong they will never admit it...
By the way the Finnish president is a woman, the prime minister and the foreign minister only occassionaly manage to to say something that she agrees with.
So indecision is a possible weakness.

A leader with no traits represents the indecision factor very well. However, the Finns will be weaker than all the civs around them until the arrival of the Pub. ;D

              Now newbie has BTS??

OK found it at last without having to buy the complete game again.
Instaled BTS and patched to latest version.

I am at work now and dont have the CDROM so cannot test myself.
              2 more questions.
1: Will I still be able to continue a saved game made prior to adding BTS?
2: I found a file here called Civ Blue marble. (NASA world view)
I assume this ís a Civ 4 not BYS scenario..am I correct with this assumption?

                1) No, If you want to play BTS, you will have to start a new game. It is possible to finish your Civ4-vanilla game though, even after you have installed BTS. You just have to start Civ4 the old way (by clicking the Civ4 (not the BTS) icon). Confirmation on this by others appreciated.

                2) Blue marble is a graphics update i believe. So it´s not a scenario. I dont know if there is a seperate version of it for BTS, or if it just goes with whatever CIV 4 version you have installed.

                  .
I think all women fall in that catagory.

                    OK I tried it.
I inserted the Civ4 CDROM restored and finished(won) a saved game.
I then tried to find BTS to check it out, but I had to insert the BTS CDROM and there it was in all of it's glory just like the old menu but with BTS added content (scenarios).
I was able to start one of the old CIV4 vanilla scenarios and it has the new features/leaders that BTS added.
I dont see any effect of the Blue Marble graphic so perhaps that requires I play Vanilla Civ4 using the Civ 4 CDROM.
