A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican. -
A tundra start is not necessarily bad (in SP). Most mapscripts will give your capitol a ton of goodies. And, the isolation means you won't be bothered by AI. So you can do some intensive focus on infrastructure, or wonders, or teching. There are some very powerful strategies that are basically OCC in the early game.
Most people don't realize how much it slows you down in both growth and research to crank out settlers.Comment
