Best Leader In BTS?

With all options on random except for your choice in leader who do you select for a MUST WIN match.

Not every one fit in the poll so write in some one if they didn't make it. I tried not to have too many from the same Civ as options. I chose the best (IMO) from the big Civs. Like Ceasar > Augustus.

Another vote for Zara Yaqob. I like his traits and all his half-price buildings. His UU is nice, although I don't find his UB very useful.

Montezuma. I'm best at warmongering, and Jaguar rushing is great if you've got enemies nearby -- completely resource independent. You can pick up a worker tech or two, or even a religion, then beeling ironworking. You'll usually get there before axemen are even that numerous.

If you don't have any vicitms in the vicinity, he starts with mysticism so you can go the religious route. I like the whip, so the sacraficial altar is quite nice.

Sitting Bull 1st, Zara 2nd. At Prince or lower the Natives can do what Monty does, only sooner, with Dog Soldiers. You don't have to worry about defense, and extra great people allows you to compete tech-wise. At higher levels you can use Dogs to stop barb invasions, and use an Oracle-GP tech pop to rush Machinery and then send DrillIV crossbows towards unsuspecting AIs. Allows early or medieval rushes, or peaceful expansion. Surprisingly well-balanced and allows for more than one method of victory.

Zara is REX, REX, REX. Build lots of libraries and coast to an early tech lead and stay there. Wars start much later, and early defenses can be a concern.

I'm surprised no-one is mentionning Darius & Pacal. I believed they were considered as overpowered, Esp. with Holy Rome or Inca.
