That's why you have to make sure the Mrs. gets satisfied before you sit down to play Civ.

That, or you find the absolute perfect Mrs. - one who wants to play civ, too.

            rufkm?

            That's a nightmare.

What? Do you let her win? Holy cripes.

Do you play your best game? Yeah, right. Good formula for getting her to never play with you again.

Either way, the "diplomacy" of the game is going to be a nightmare. Much worse than having "random ai" turned on.

Well, as long as you're getting satisfied by your mistress, does it really matter?

That depends on the handcuffs, I suppose?

Funny... the quote I got when replying was,

My wife is fairly understanding. She even played CivIII with me a couple times.

I have gone through a massive run of Darius addiction. ORG/FIN, immortals...

As a guy who fights that he might build, it's the perfect setup (well, ORG/IND or IND/FIN with Immortals or War Chariots would also rock). Whack an AI civ or two (or, every once and a while, THREE) early and then settle down to build like a maniac. The Game of Ultimate Power (tm)...

I've been lured into three late nights in a row... which is both good and bad! Only about 11:30pm to midnight or so, but when you get up at 4:15 am it gets painful after the second day!

Current game, been playing as Hap (Monarch, Epic), with Mehmed, Genghis, Mansu and Hammurabi on my continent. Building up my commerce city (nice spot with about 6 flood plains I think plus a gold tile; lots of villages and hamlets already sprung up...it will be a gold/research powerhouse!)

Beaten up on Mehmed twice and Genghis once (second attack is about to happen, as soon as my foot soldiers catch up to the war chariots; Genghis throws out spearmen once in a while).

Mansa and I are good budies (I accepted his religion and helped him in wars twice); Hammy and I keep trading first place. Once I've beaten down Genghis' city spam, it is time to reduce Hammy.

Here's a question, since I've been away from Civ for months and am on my first BtS game. I will have a Great Artist soon, since I'm about to get Music. What's the best use of him?
-I could put him in my Commerce city for the +3 gold, or
-put him in Istanbul (taken from Memhed) for the culture, to keep the pressure off from the two nearby Ottoman cities, but that seems a waste because I can kill Mehmed at any time
-Save him to rush something later (but what would be a good choice?)

                      Dang I like this game

Last time I tried cIV with my GF she got really bored, because I was moving so slow (having to take decisions on many things), whereas she just automated half of the stuff and did the other half without a thought.
