Trouble Seeing Avatars of Opposing Civilizations

Well I fixed all of the problems!!!! At least I think. I went to Walmart and bought a GeForce FX 5500 video card (264 or whatever mb PCI) and put it in. At first the avatars were great, but then the screen was so big that only half of the game could be seen. So I talked with tech support at 2K and they said that their was no new driver. So it ended up with me reinstalling the game. That did not work so I called back, and the next person told me that their was a new driver and emailed me the link. Well after updating my driver it was perfect!!! I can put my graphics on high!!! As for the crashing in the 20th century I do not know. I have not gotten the chance to play up to that point. So that awaits to be seen. I only assume that it is fixed. I guess from all of the info and experience that some graphics cards are for some weird reasons are not qualified for the game.
