The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

The NDA doesn't allow anything to be revealed that's not publicly known. Thus in fact, we can't reveal anything. Not how the game became what it is.

Here is a question that should be NDA-approvable, do you consider it possible that Super Robo *may* show up in a future patch or in some future paid content? There, that should be innocuous enough.
Just to balance things out, here is a softball question for the testers: what is your favorite of the new civs?

Sorry, I meant doesn't.
(corrected previous post)
Anyway, anything not already publicly know, will not be known, simple as that. Beta-testers are not PR.
So basically you are saying that this scenario http://forums.civfanatics.com/attach...9&d=1184755266 does not include any big robots?
How well do the advanced starts work?
Do you have a lot more hammers in the late game compared to Vanilla? What about commerce?
Do the barbs come with privateers?
How good does the AI play with corporations?
Is Mining Inc. so powerful as it sounds?
Do the forest preserve and the saw mill exclude each other?
How fast does the forest preserve make the forests spread?
Do corporations affect relations? Possibly divide SP civs and FT civs?
How well does the AI defend?
Does the AI actually go conquering and eat it's neighbors? On Noble, on higher levels?
Is the HRE really that powerful for conquering with it's UU and UB? What are the leader traits?
Do you have a lot more hammers in the late game compared to Vanilla? What about commerce?
Yes, more hammers, if not only for the corporations and the levees. But there's a lot more to build as well, so it's fairly ballanced.
How good does the AI play with corporations?
Pretty good. It only expands corps to cities that will benefit from it. It uses GP to found them.
Is Mining Inc. so powerful as it sounds?
It's one of my favourites, together with Creative constructions (another 'hammer' company) and the food corps (Cereal mills and sid's sushi)
It's not too powerful, since it'll give you at most 3-5 extra hammers per city. (unless you go really crazy and collect like 15 iron resources an 15 copper resources)
Do the forest preserve and the saw mill exclude each other?
yes
How fast does the forest preserve make the forests spread?
Haven't used them oftenly. I still intend to build a great people farm with only forrest preserves one day.
Do corporations affect relations? Possibly divide SP civs and FT civs?
No
How well does the AI defend?
It defends the important cities better then the less important cities. The best part of the AI defense is it's counter attack.
Does the AI actually go conquering and eat it's neighbors? On Noble, on higher levels?
Yes, but not as much as in previous civ itterations (<4)
Is the HRE really that powerful for conquering with it's UU and UB? What are the leader traits?
Imperialistic / Protective
The Rathaus is interesting. It's not that special for the rest, imho.

Does it still feel like Civ4 or have the changes changed the experience far enough that it should be described as Civ 4.5? In the months to come, do you think people will describe Vanilla and BtS as fundamentally different games?
I highly doubt that anyone would say that the changes made in Warlords changed anything fundamental about Civ4. That expansion was a refinement and an upgrade but the core mechanics felt the same. BtS is entirely different, in scope and focus, so it is possible that it may feel entirely different from the game we are used to. What do you think?
