No, but I always kill barbarian galleys on first sight, so they don't have a change to 'return' :P

      • Brutality to Barbarians is discouraged, you know that, right?

        • Thanks for the answers guys

The slave revolts concern me...I think the cash rush nerf really went too far, and I'm hoping they don't overnerf Slavery. It seems like only cities that actually get whipped should have a chance for revolt (with maybe a higher probability for double/triple whips). I guess I'll have to play for a while and get a feel for it, assuming they ever release the game in the U.S.

From reading the patch info it looks like while the vassal state mechanics haven't changed, there were several specific behavioral changes which should make it a much better feature.

Is there a list of all the random events? I've heard there were "100s", so I'm buessing not!

          • Maybe Yin and Solver are the same person. Give any thought to that?

            • Slave revolts aren't too powerful. The probability of them occurring is fairly low, so you won't be getting constantly hit by them.

Most blessedly, vassals can no longer own tiles within fat crosses of your cities, so that's wonderful.

And no, no list of events... there's quite a bunch of them indeed, and compiling a list would be a BIG pain in the butt.

I think that a vassal state will give unlimited resources to the master now. It may anger the vassal more though, and it may break free earlier if pushed too far.

And Yin, of course, is Sid. Which means.....

At least you'll have an opportunity to buy your way out of trouble with the new Events system. You can also turn off Events. EDIT: Some Events don't offer buying a way out, btw, but most do.

I think 150+. No list. Kind of like not wanting to spoil the Harry Potter ending, I suppose. Anyway, somebody will make a list sure enough.

I'd add to that that the fun of BtS is that you'll get new events for the next 40 or so games, and it's truely exciting everytime to get a new event. (ok, don't get too enthousiastic, it's just nice if after so much time there's something new in the game)

Just posting those events here would only spoil that.

That's one of my favorite parts of the game, it really depends on the map and the situation. Also, you may just not be getting a certain type of GPs, so you can't always found what you want.

On water maps, my preference is with Sid's Sushi for boosted food, particularly if I am trying to win by space. When warmongering, my preference lies with either hammer-producing corporation - for powerful modern warfare, nothing beats having a good amount of raw hammers.

                              • Here kind of a weird question, but it is something I wondered about since the Sumerians were announced.
Did you guys reuse the old icon that you created for the Vulture or did you create an all new one?
