Someone on here once got Astronomy from a goodie hut. I think it must have been on a Terra map.
Participating in my threads is mandatory. Those who do not do so will be forced, in their next game, to play a power directly between Catherine and Montezuma.

You can potentially get all techs up to and including Astronomy. I have on an Earth map, and I know others who have on non-Terra maps. There's a thread about this from some time ago.

I love it when you're researching a tech, 1 turn left, and then you pop the hut, and presto, you get that 1 turn done for you.. sigh ...
Please don't tell me that the failed to fix siege in BtS.

          Edit: Yes they fixed siege.

This happened to somebody on CFC a while back... to top it off, he was playing as Rome.

            You're not Orion071, are you?

I started a game with Augustus on Emperor level and I get a nice starting spot. Hills, floodplains, some Corn. Move my Warrior over to a hut and pop Bronze Working in 3940BC. Um, not bad. Revolt to Slavery and keep exploring. Look, another hut... There's 2 sources of Iron nearby...
