Increasing the role of the game's trade route system (while leaving the details largely automated) and, as a result, making navies more important is my first choice for new features to CivIV.

Remember, privateers are back, too, so you really may want to increase the navy...

The space screenies are amazing btw.
I'm not buying BtS until Firaxis impliments the "contiguous cultural border negates colony tax" concept.

First C&C3, then Civ IV BtS, next Starcraft 2? You game developers are nothing more then greedy drug lords, using my addiction to take my money! I want you to stop making such exciting games now!

Ok, not really, but anyone want to buy a wife?

I agree wholeheartily. And besides, I already have enough with combining my imminent exams AND my renewed interest in old adventure games like DOTT ATM.

Have to agree: the more I read about this expansion the more I am looking forward to it.

I consider myself an experienced/mature/jaded(?) level headed pc games player but Im now like a kid and can't wait for this expansion!

The only downside is I am hesitant about starting a new game of CiV in the meantime in the knowledge of the improvements that are about to arrive!

Hmm, I am noticing the massive bows on the elephants in the screenies... UU for a southeast Asian civ?

Also, what looks to be a corporate headquarters.

I am giddy with excitement. We still have to wait two more months?

I've already told my wife I'll be a glassy-eyed absence in her life come end July-August.

Which means we may be able to create a Hidden Nationality land unit too, like in Civ 3. I loved those guys, they really spiced up my peaceful periods. And the AI knew how to use them too. Though sometimes a little too much.

They finally brought in paratroopers and self-propelled artilleries.

State Property is no longer over powerful as it blocks the corporations. Free Market will be become a lot more useful.
