Stop your silly games. If you have something to contribute to the topic, do so, if not, don't post - that's something you seem to still be struggling with . The forum doesn't need your hostility, and it also doesn't need your advice on when to move or close threads.

I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

When someone posts in the CIV4 General forum that they think perhaps a leader should be assigned a different civ, it is logicly assumed they mean in CIV4.

As a side note, I nominate Kuciwalker as the offical Aployton Welcome Commitee Leader, seeing as this is the second time in two days he gave such insightful and warm replys to threads started by "settlers".

To address the orginal topic of the thread however...

Personally, I would like to see alot more ancient civs added to the game, the Maya, Macedonians, some Native American tribes, etc...

I would however not want to see Alexander as the Macedonian leader, since his impact on the world was while leading the Greeks.

Well, yes, you're right. Yet, by the same token, Frederick was Prussian, not German; and Stalin was Georgian, not Russian. At the time of Alexander, Macedon, even though they had conquered the other Greeks, was so thoroughly intertwined politically and culturally, it was essentially a Greek entity, as opposed to Greece being a Macedonian entity.

                    I hope that made sense.

I see it more as a Frankish Empire-Rome relationship. Thankfully, Charlemagne isn't one of the Roman leaders

If Alexander can't be a greek leader than no one lead Greece because Pericles is Athanian, Agamemnon was only the only the king with the most influence, and a modern leader would have little chance of getting in. Macedon was one the various Greek states. If you are thinking Macedonia isn't greek because Macedonia is a seperate state today, look at the map below. Almost none of ancient Macedonia is in the modern country.

                        Alexander was Greek.
