I'd say Polynesians is a good guess. Sioux seems likely as well. Perhaps Iroquois will be added too, tho I don't think they'd do 2 north american tribes in the same expansion. I'll say Mayans and Hebrews will be added.
Morocco/Mauretania was very influential between the 9th to 15th centuries. It was the first Islamic state to break away from the Caliphate in Baghdad, it once controlled Morocco, Algeria, and most of Spain and Portugal, and had many centres of learning whose knowledge filtered through to Europe while they were preoccupied with the Crusades. During their waning years, they even destroyed the Songhai Empire south of the Sahara. There's more, but I'd bore you.

Polynesians??! WTF?
Why not? That was quite an accomplishment to set out on what were little more than canoes and settle just about every inhabitable landmass in the South Pacific. I think they deserve some recognition for that. They developed an interesting culture as well, surprisingly homogenous considering the great distances between settlements.
Austria would be my top choice. There's already a lot of European civs in there but, commercial considerations aside, I'd never have put Portugal and the Netherlands in ahead of them.
I expect Lakota/Sioux indeed: I doubt they'd call the civ "Amerindians" or something generic like that.
My other 6 bets (reason):
Maya (colonization scenario)
Axum/Ethiopia
Khmer
Polynesia (Moai statues)
Austria (post-gunpowder emphasis, can figure in plenty scenarios)
Brazil (futuristic scenarios)

I got the wrong thread. After reading this, I’d say
Portugal - John the Navigator (starts with Fishing, UU is some Caravel equivalent, traits are Financial)
Dutch - William of Orange (UU is East Indiaman, trait includes Financial)
Bablyon - Hammurabi....
Sioux - Sitting Bull(starts with Hunting, UU is Horse Archer equivalent)
Polynesian - (starts with Fishing, UU is War Canoe (replace Galley)
Hebrew - David (they always tend to turn up sooner or later) - start techs will be Myst and Mining for fast track to Judaism
Ethiopian is my pick for the additional African civ
Siam or Viet (probably the first)
Mayan (if we’re short of American civs then these would seem the most developed of the ones missing). Spiritual and Financial maybe.
Which leaves one more. Since I suspect we might have another European nation in the mix then I’m caught between Austria, Sweden and Poland. However, Austria does have a certain cross over with both Spain and Germany. For a completely different civ, I would pick Hungary ahead of them (or perhaps Austria-Hungary). As for the Swedes, well they already have the Vikings. And somehow I cannot see Poland being added.
The final one will therefore be…….Assyrian

I think that they wil add some small tribes to have civs not only from Europe
I hope to see a little more important civs than Navajo or Siouxs but probably I'll be disppointed
My wish list:
Portugal
Dutch
Native North-Americans (I think it will be one general civ like Vikings for Scandinavian civs)
Babylon (great choice!)
Poland
Austria or Austria-Hungary (rather Austria )
Some south-Asian like Khmer, Siam
Some African like Ethiopia
One one native American, I'm afraid, from Central or South America
one is still missing - maybe Hittites?
