As far as I know porting to Linux is usually done by other companies, not the developer or the publisher so not sure how the developers would waste their time.

Meh, Vista seriously looks like a disaster. Even the sales numbers are far lower than expected, apparently.

I'm using Vista right now, and while I recognise annoyances, I have to say that that is an extremely poorly written and factually incorrect article. I especially liked this statement: "Linux Starts to Find Home on Desktops". Yea, indeed. I remember to have read exactly this statement about 10 years ago.
Linux on the desktop is just like Windows on the server. Horribly bad.
