When Alexander attacks me, I know I'm in serious trouble. When Monty attacks me, I think, "Cool, free cities with no diplomatic penalty!"

...mostly because Monty has stomped me into the ground enough times to shake me out of my sandbox/pure builder mentality to the point where I can actually fight and win wars now. Yay Monty!

This thread made me wonder...does Tokugawa EVER have any friends? I don't think I've EVER EVER seen the animation of him in a good mood or saying "Yes" to a trade. He's always looking like he's constipated with razor blades.

He is the same as everyone else in that open borders, peace and trade can easily lead to a high plus score. It's just a pain getting there! Going to war with him works though.
