As a result of `Transition 2006` [see story] some things will be changing around Apolyton, and some already have: shortly after the change in site ownership a new member was added to the Apolyton Staff -- Diadem (also known as Michiel in real life). He will be the new Civ4 Content Editor, responsible from bringing and keeping our Civilization IV section up-to-date.
When I was asked if I wanted to join the Apolyton Staff I was quite honoured. I'm relatively new to Apolyton, I only joined up when Civ4 was released, and I'm not as well-known as many others. I do hope my posts on the forum have made some contribution to the community though, said Diadem.
Our front page on Civilization 4 has long been neglected. Updating it - and keeping it updated - is an interesting challenge. One I will not be able to do alone. I can not possibly write all the content we want on my own. So I do hope to get the help of the community in writing interesting articles and strategy guides now that we are back on track in updating the site.
Since his appointment Diadem has been working hard to complete and update the Civilopedia of our Civilization IV Information section, much of which hadn't been worked on since late 2005. It is now fully updated with all-new graphics and information that reflects the state of Civilization IV as per the latest patch (v1.61). The next step will be to add sections for the Warlords expansion.
