Warlords Team Democracy Game?

Paddy, you're entering dangerous territory as well. This discussion of what happened in this past ends here. Fight it out in PMs if you must but this thread is about the future, not the past.

I feel inflated by my elevated "notible few" status that has been thrust apon me....

All I was trying to present is my opinion basec on past experiances. As have a few others. But, they are just that opinions.

I'm not opposed to a New DG, just in the timing of that DG. IMVHO, it should wait until it's further (and maybe fully) patched. In the mean time, there are ongoing games that some of the newer people might want to get involved with.

And from what I've observed. some of the "opposing" are from different teams in the current C4DG: Krill-GS, Kloreep-Mercs, Tass-AC, Me-Sarantium, Snoopy-Game Admin for the C4DG. So, there isn't any "team Conspiricy" that I can think of.

BUT, these are people who have been there and bought the t-shirt, so to say. I really don't think that any of them are fundimentally opposed to a new DG, just that it really should wait a little while longer.

Now, a side word on the C3CDG/DL issue that has been brought up... It's over and done and past us and lets move on.

With that said.... Let's wait until the game is fully patched and go from there. In the mean time, there are other games that are on goin that will welcome people. I can say that the C4DG has barely scratched the surface on it's playing.

I think that I really need to say on this, I'm going back to my new book by Richard Hatch about BSG, it looks good....

Okay a few points from me - in no particular order.

1) I was hoping to play a nice little Warlords DG - and to kick Zoids butt!

2) I do actually take offence at suggestions that I do not know how to manage my own time. Firstly I am an adult, not a child. Secondly, I actually run a very successful business, within an international company, and one of my key strengths is time & people management. I happen to be quite good at it, which is why I have been placed in charge of the business unit I currently run. Thirdly, my current level of activity on 'Poly and within the DG's should indicate that either I have no job, or I know how to manage my time.

3) I would like to actually thank Locutus for his ongoing support of this, in spite of what has been said.

4) I have no idea what Beta and PLATO are on about - and I do not, to be frank, care.

5) There have been some very hurtful things posted here, and again, to be honest, I want to be of no party to it.

6) I do find it interesting that we are being urged to join the current SPDG, or Team DG, or the ISDG. I see quite a few of those urging us to join them, who I do not see present in them. You may well have the flags/badges for them, but in my obviously uneducated opinion, joining the SPDG (ie getting the badge), and this was in one of my terms as president, and posting, what three times (?), does not count as being active. At least Zoid had the guts to stand up and state his opinion, live in a chat no less, on the SPDG. I do not agree with him, but I respect him for both his honesty and integrity. And still he is more active in the SPDG than most.

7) I am tired of all of this. I came to this site to play civ, have a laugh, poke a bit of fun, and have a bit of fun poked at me. I did not sign up for this ****e. I deal with this every day at work - I do not want to have to deal with it here.

8) My name is Nugog!!! Not Nunog, nor Eggnog, nor anything else. I do find it annoying when people misspell it. (Just thought I'd slip that in here).

9)Most of the people who are signing up for this Warlords Team Deul DG (for want of a better name) do not have every badge known to man under their name, so possibly do actually have the time to play this.

10) I just want to play civ. Warlords would be nice. With my friends would be even nicer.

No - I do not - no where there does it say that I wish to stop discussing the proposed Warlord DG.

It states that I have no time for stupid hurtful comments.

I want to play Civ, I want to participate in the games I sign up for.

Nothing else.

Apart from that you can read into it what you want.
