Does anyone have the music in Civilization? I really like it, and I don't know what any of it's called. Is there a directory or somethiing where I can pull it out?
If anyone could help me, I would be immensely grateful.
But there are also numerous classical pieces, and contemprary orchstral music. They can be found in the C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Assets\Sounds, in .mp3 format. They also have somewhat descriptive names.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"
It would also be really nice to know what they're saying, if anything. The Warlords music, especially. Does anyone know how/where I can get such information?
Ah! I knew it was in Arabic! Seems strange to have a love song for a game called Warlords, though... "All's fair in love and war?"... Maybe its not so strange.
It's all about imagination, when there's a powerful melody, in a game called "Warlords", and you can't understand the language, you naturally expect and imagine it to be a war song of some sort.

I don't think I've ever heard of arabic called the language of love.
Though if spoken by a hot chick, it can be arousing. There's this hot arabic girl at my job. She's americanized and has a california accent though. But she speaks perfect arabic (I assume, I can't actually verify her arabic is perfect- but it sounded good). The women can be beautiful if the society would just let them be.
back on topic. I know my special edition version of civ4, had a cd with all the music on it. Even though I like the music, I have yet to listen to it. . I just can't imagine listening to it driving down the road. Blasting it loud for all the other people to hear it.
The soundtrack CD is good . Mind you, it has the songs in wav format, so it's not like you can listen to it in your car. I think. I enjoy it, the Mongol diplo music is my favorite, along with the Spanish one.

I listen to the soundtrack CD once in a while. I'd like to bring it with me in my car, as I spend a lot of my time driving (because of work). Sadly, I would be the person blasting "Baba Yet" down the highway...
