I'm fighting one of those wars that take place in a nation (Egypt) each of you have open borders with. Some Chinese troops troops were in an Egyption city. I attacked with a CR3 Artillery to cause collateral damage. I then noticed that it was getting the 75% CR bonus even though I wasn't attacking the city. Has anyone else expirenced this?

Yea, city raider. The reson I think it's strange is that I'm not attacking the city just troops passing through the city, but I still the bonus of attacking troops defending the city.USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

I didn't dare say thatOriginally posted by Martinus
It's like Israel attacking Hisbullach in Lebanon.
Causes a h**l of a lot of unhappiness, collateral damage and diplomatic penalties (well, not too sure about politicans, but among people at least)

You get bonuses even if the city does not belong to either of the fighting parts. Should maybe cause some unhappiness though (in the city where the fighting takes place) as the city is suddenly turned into a warzone
