Actually... at 250 hammers for the Great Wall, it might make sense to build it early in order to get the +2GE jump.

That's alot quicker than it is for the 450 to Pyramids or going all the way to metal casting!

Get those GE pumping out as early as possible.

I'd still rather build the Pyramids. The AI goes for the Wall more often, and the Pyramids is a far more useful Wonder. Great Wall is okay, but not great, at least not without raging barbs.

I generally only bother building it if I have stone - the GE points DO rule.
