  • No news is good news, right?

Does anyone else find it a bit surprising (worrying?) that only about a month is left until the Civ4: Warlords planned release, and we haven't heard anything more about the expansion for weeks, since the IGN preview in early May?
The problem with leadership is inevitably: Who will play God?

I've been wondering on that myself.
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10

Yeah, we haven't gotten any news since the wonders info and it didn't even cover the Mausoleum of Mausollos. Other than that we haven't any info since E3. Back in September an October we were getting a new video and info once every two weeks.

Well at least you guys aren't the forgotten mac users. By the time I get the game, I am still going to be 6 months behind

A full game is a full game. One could release new info about Civ4 pretty much every day, but there's only so much you can say about an expansion - and no one wants to give all the info away at once.

It's been that long? I haven't followed the news myself, I'm not even sure I read that preview

But you'll have the benefit of all the "testing" we've done and be able to start from a much better place.

New Warlords information? Ask and ye shall receive. Warlords doesn't include giant death robots.

Hey, a thread where I can contribute!

'Warlords" will be aimed at the PC platform.

Heh, I feel important. Like I helped somehow.

                        Tom P.

                        EDIT:
"Warlords" will not include music by Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, or Nine Inch Nails.

                        It will not contain nudity.

It will not be high in cholesterol.

It will not cause tooth decay.

(Hey, I didn't realise how much I knew about this!)

This should put an end to the Giant Death Robot scenario rumours. Thanks for the Scoop Solvey.

Yeah, but does it have a Schwarzcoff warlord (as in Norman Schwarzcoff)?

... to go along with the likes of (I'll just mention a few WWII leaders) Guderian, Rommel, Bradley, Patton, MacArthur & Montgomery?

                              Still no nudity?

                              Where's the nude-patch?
