    Bad idea I think.

I was hoping it would be like Alpha Centauri: you utterly defeat them and they become your slaves for life. Reconsideration every 10 turns? That just means I'll have to wipe them out as usual.

    Stupid.

Actually, it doesn't come up for renegotiation every 10 turns. I can't elaborate further on how things function, but you needn't worry about that.

Personally I think the Camp unit of the Mongol scenario is the best addition (together with vassals). I hope it can be added to the standard game as well, and used for own-made scenarios.

Good to read that. Like Bkeela I think it would probably be a nuisance to have to reconsider and renew every 10 turns making it easier to simply destroy them.

Now..I am wondering how things do function...But I will take your advice and a calming pill and not "worry about that"

My biggest problem with peace treaties at the moment is the fact that you cannot 'occupy' enemy territory, and a civ will rarely sign open borders with you after you've beaten them in a war.

So it's impossible to recreate an 'occupied country' kind of scenario without completely wiping out the civ. I'm hoping therefore that Vassal State will allow me to station my troops in the Vassal's cities and pass through their territory.

I'm also hoping they won't be able to cancel the Vassal State agreement at any time, thus kicking my troops out of their cities miraculously.

Also, one more thing: I am hoping that I will be able to take all of a Vassal's gold and techs whenever I please.
