Here's #2:
Continents, Epic, Monarch, blah blah standard all. Start with Alexander (Trying to select a bad leader, but I like them all)
Now it looks like a good start, but I opened the worldbuilder and I don't think it is very good, hehe. Well, it could be much worse, maybe I should look for starting next to Monty or Mansa Musa as those starts can be difficult. Gonna go play my game now, tell me if you need more or if you want different settings.

OOOOOOHHH, pick this one!
Absolute iceball, script generator cheated to make the capital livable . And it just gets better from there... but I won't spoil the surprise . I took a peek in the world builder though, and can confirm it isn't COMPLETELY hopeless. Good Luck!!!
Standard/Cold/Archipelago/Snaky Continents/High Seas. Completely undoctored. Defult number of AIs, Monarch Difficulty, Epic speed.
Its such an interesting start I'll be sure to give it a shot on my own when I get around to it. Normally, I would reroll a "bad" start like that.Last edited by fluffyflyingpig; January 22, 2006, 16:30.

Many of these look really good! Thank you guys! I appreciate the time and effort that went into getting some sub-standard starts!
I sorta know which one I WANT to use, but....ahhhh, agonizing decisions. I'm making screenies of the starting positions of all so I can study them more closely.

Aaack, the exclamation marks screwed up the upload. Try this one. I couldn't resist and tried the start out last night. It is the second worst start I have ever gotten in so far in Civ 4. BUT, because it is eipc speed instead of normal, I have a good chance of winning in 1 AD. Even if you don't use it for the workshot Vel, try the start out, just for kicks.
The worst start EVER was a panagea trapped on the end of a LONG, snaky, 1 tile penninsula with no less than 3 AIs between me and the mainland and the nearest AI 3 tiles away. >.< I should have saved the save from that one, I took a peak in the world editor, laughed, and regenerated.
