I love marathon as it is now

In my current (and first) game of marathon I'm building railroads in 1350-1400, and my cities are spitting out units ready for war
This space is empty... or is it?

In Civ IV I've found you can attack fairly comfortably when you are only one level higher. Main thing is making sure you have enough units.

Try to use pikes and axes in a war on Pangaea, huge, maybe in the other side of the continent... Your ultimate powerful stack will be decimated by some cavalry when you reach the target. Or before that.

In marathon you can find time to use those units, but would be better if we could later the research a little bit… Just because I really love huge maps.

Junuxx created this Gamespeed Tuner that lets you change the rate for things to whatever you please. You could have units build 10x as fast and tech take 100x as long if you wanted.

The link is to the 'Poly thread he posted where you can download the utility.

Wouldn't that be funny. The expedition force you sent out in the late middle ages on galleys are overtaken by your early industrial transports and destroyers.
*Finally* you can declare war, 25 turns sooner then expected.

That depends on the level you play. Seems like you are on either Prince or Noble. Could be lower but not higher.
