Newbie wouldn't really be appropriate. Your indiscretion wasn't caused by not understanding how the board works, or even asking a question which has been answered many times before.

Considering newbie an insult (*everyone* is a newbie at first) just confirms you like insulting people.

Your reaction to Blake was to ignore the detailed help he gave you, pick up on the throw away "moron" comment, and call him an idiot. His comment could easily be justified by either what he saw in the save file or in the fact that you posted in the wrong forum...

Calling someone who's just done you a favour an idiot is not likely to get you the helpful commentry you desire. A more clever approach would have been to thank him for his help and demonstrate your lack of moronity. As it was, you confirmed his opinion.

It is true that Blake gave Strategist83 some really good points, I will follow them myself.

But, the moron comment was also an insult - even if true or not.

Anyways, Blake already indicated he enjoys looking at saved games, so maybe he wasn't really being altruistic.
