Sure they had a few nice dishes but the main problem was that it was so different from what westerners tend to expect in Chinese food. Most people just think it'll be the same as what you get from the local take-away, but in general its nothing like that. Also we only had Chinese Tea (boiling water with a few leaves in it - might be cool enough to sip a bit by the end of your meal) to drink

Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess."

True that. Could be a bit of a surprise.

You could have gotten coca-cola or beer.

I much prefer Western "Chinese" food but maybe I just didn't eat the best of it...
Eh... I don't like the sweet US Chinese dishes. I prefer the spicier ones. But, on your main point, I probably would be disapointed in actual Chinese food as well, being so big a fan of Americanized (and Pakistanized as well... which is similar to Americanized Chinese food but far more spicier).

            It was all warm! WARM!!!

I can't drink warm drinks like that, only a few drinks that are meant to be warm. Warm coke is to me unbearable (although I do know someone who *prefers* warm coke )

Yeah it's called crappy school trips.

But seriously I went with school so everything was just group booked into big hotels and big restaurants and all that. I have no doubt there are better places than where we went but I can only speak from my experiences.

Oh well at least the trip was cheap considering what we got to do - only about AU$3000 (approx. US$2,250) for 3 weeks (inc. everything - travel, accomidation, food, going places, doing things, etc.).

So all in all not too bad.

The wonder should be Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School and it generates chefs (or menus or recipes) that you trade off to the other civilizations. This is as close as I can get to Broadway generating hits.

I think the McDonald's is already covered under the tech named "Assembly Line." McDonald's is not successful because of its superior cuisine, but because its efficiency of operation allows it to produce food at a lower cost.

A Fast Food wonder that adds +1 food, +1 commerce, +1 happiness and -1 health in all cities. The explination for the happiness would read "We are all FAT and HAPPY!"

                        It should be +2 food.

How about working the CIV cardboard box into the game somehow?

+! happiness, creates a Great Person, -1 health.

Gotta have -1 hammer... after all, everyone's productivity goes down when they open that box!

If you included the McD's wonder you would also have to include Great Lawyers in the game. Adding one to your town would increase gold but reduce factory output by the same amount =P

Oh and add disclaimers to all buildings in the city...

.. and the weight of your save files would also have to increase exponentially
