Why, the World Builder is not good enough for you?Originally posted by kaczorto
1. No editor
No kidding. That's why I build axemen instead of warriors.Originally posted by kaczorto
2. Balance - still off (units more powerful than others...
That indicates you need to get better at playing the game.Originally posted by kaczorto
3. TIME (I'm either getting musketmen in 800 a.d. or 2100 a.d.) - SUCKS!
Some people play the OCC at deity level. YMMV.Originally posted by kaczorto
4. Impossible to win over Prince
You read too much into things.Originally posted by kaczorto
5. Awful Customs maps...must regenerate over and over again (Continents that look like giant swastikas -sp).
You can make your own.Originally posted by kaczorto
6. Not nearly enought civs...(Want me to buy an EXPANSION PACK DO WE?)
As of now, the tech level whizs by at some point in the game so some units become obsolete before you can build them, unless you play a marathon game. The only unit I see missing is an upgraded Worker.Originally posted by kaczorto
7. Units - why so few (again, expansion pack rip-off)(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

I realise that, I still want a better Worker unit after, say, Gunpowder.Originally posted by Kuciwalker

Workers have built-in upgrades as you discover certain techs and Civics.

I don't understand the complaint about number of Civs. There are a decent amount in my eyes. I mean, sure, they could have spent 3-4 more months creating and testing 4 more Civs, but they had a good number at time of release.
Same thing with units. How many more do you really want? I don't use all the units as it is.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

You´re obviously in the minority here. Play something else if you don´t like it...Originally posted by kaczorto
Ok, so the 1.52 patch is out....is the game much better? No, slightly more stable...runs better, even on an old laptop that wouldn't run it before...now it runs...though it takes a long time to load...so what's still wrong?

4. Impossible to win over Prince (Seems ok at Noble - but for a challange you MUST chose - Aggressive AI).

8. More to come....
THIS GAME IS A GRAPHIC IMPROVEMENT OVER CIV3 but NOT A BETTER GAME - the AI, stinks....and lets face it that's where the game leap really comes from.
I love being beaten by women - Lorizael
