Who, Roosevelt? I've had 2 space race wins with him while fighting both offensive and defensive wars in both games.

Yes, Gandhi (spiritual/industrious) is kind of cool, and not having anarchy for civics changes is nice, but the spiritual trait isn't necessarily the best or most necessary, pretty much, all of the traits have their pros and cons. I will play Gandhi when I am into a more defensive play mode, and his fast workers are sure easy to get used to!

And personally, I think the diplomatic dialogs are fun, I especially got a big kick out of Caesar's, "Have some salad? I made it myself" (paraphrased), but that's just me.

I dont think ive ever played a game not as isabella yet.........

i suppose ur rite about the "thay all have pros and cons"

but if like me you play one civ all the time you take for granted things like no anarchy and to not have that in a game would be ...........

I always try my best NOT to found buddism, hinduism and jewism. and then swoop in and steal christianity

make that the state religeon have no open borders so no other religeons can spread.

She starts with mysticism and fishing - and fishing is the mightest tech to get fast money and fast research early. Luckily for the others her personal traits are bull****. Expansive is no real help in the beginning (well, you spare couple of turns from granaries, but that's all) and the spiritual is good for nothing simply because you have no civics to change.
