On duel with one other Civ, it is entirely possible to win in like 3000 B.C. I might do it and give ya'll a screenshot. I like to turn off all victories except time. If they're close, it makes for some excitingly high numbers appearing after future tech and some interesting ways to churn points. Normally though, it is space race in mid-1900s for me if Space Race is on.
