In the file Civ4CivilizationInfos.xml the city name appears as YAROSLAVI with the final letter a capital "eye".

However, in the file Civ4GameTextInfos_Cities.xml we find both YAROSLAVI as above and Yaroslavl with the final letter a lowercase "el" (both with and without the final apostrophe, depending on the language version).

At least this explains why some don't see the final apostrophe in the name, while Martin did see it.

I changed the english name to Yaroslavi. That might do the trick. Thanks, Petek

Just for the fact, some dutch cities begin with an apostroph

's-Gravenhage = Den Haag = The Hague
's-Hertogenbosch = Den Bosch

's comes from the genitative "des"
