Good post !! I'm playing Elizabeth on Prince level and just happen to be at this point. This is what I have:
- 6 cities: sizes 5, 5, 5, 1, 1, 1. This is a land grab game after I found that I was at the southern end of a continent, with Washing not too far north so I had to send my 2nd and 4th settlers into the jungle with good resources in between and those are still both size 1 cities.
- 6 workers, 4 archers, and 11 warriors.
- completed buildings: Stonehenge, 2 libraries, 1 barracks, Academy. Most buildings are built by tree-chopping since before I got Alphabet, my workers only had Mining, Agriculture, and Animal Husbandry.
- Failed to get Oracle.
- Building Partheon, Ganery, Worker, library, 2 archers.
- Techs researched: Alphabet and then traded for almost all lower level techs without trading away Alphabet. Researching Code of Laws but already got beaten by the Molgol for being the first !! The AIs already have Code of Laws, Monarchy. Mathematics, and Ironwork. They all want to trade Ironwork for Alphabet but I'd rather live in a jungle without Ironwork than trading it away. It's a tough game on the tech side since my capital started at a location with poor gpld access so the Financial trait has been pretty much useless so far.
BTW, I've been wondering how the AIs in my game managed to get these techs so fast without trading among themselves. Compared to what you recorded, they seem to be much more advanced while not missing any lower level techs so I can trade with them for Ironwork.
The Prince level is a little higher but not by much.
