I know it's good to trade with other civs, especially if i've beelined for something, and now i need to backfill on cheaper techs.
I think i get out of control though, and i'll trade almost anything with anybody.
I heard that i should probably pick one civ, and we can trade with each other, and let the others fend for themselves.
(but then i wonder if the other civ will trade away the stuff i just gave him, and surpass me!)
I also notice that i trade higher end techs for a couple cheaper ones. Next thing you know, i see their score increase while mine barely does anything. So, i just gave them a bonus.
So, what's a good strategy so i don't go overboard? It would be cool if i'd occasionally get a good deal, but its always Mr. Nice Guy Cameron giving the other civs these great deals.
Should i just not give out the higher end techs, so i can enjoy the benefits for awhile?
I do notice the computer goes for military-minded techs, like Artillery, Rocketry, etc.
